Atmosphere is great. I highly recommend sitting outside during sunset if you can. It is beautiful. You walk in and have a big... bar where you can order drinks while you wait. I went twice during my week long trip and I had to get the scallops again. I hadlobster tails that were perfectly cooked and delicious. The wait staff is beyond amazing. Wow, this place is phenomenal. If you?re reading this trying to figure out a place to go for dinner- this is it! Everything was... excellent. Its kind of a hidden gem back in the corner of a neighborhood. We used the valet service which was nice. We satoutside on the patio it was very romantic for our 3rd year anniversary. We even saw dolphins! Our servers were so wonderful,accommodating, and sweet. Always made sure our experience was good, drinks were filled, and plates cleaned off the table as soonas we were finished. Hushpuppies to snack on upon sitting down were crunchy and tasty. We had the blackened scallops forappetizer- the best I?ve ever had! I got the blacked shrimp, hubby got the special of the day snapper stuffed with crab andwhite wine sauce. The twice baked potato and house salad that comes with it was delicious. All the seafood was cooked andseasoned perfectly. We also got the alfredo, crab cakes, & bread pudding to go. This restaurant was amazing. The food was excellent my wife and I were totally blown away the whole evening. My wife and I... celebrated our 7yr. Anniversary. I credit our server Nigel for making me and my wife feel special on a special day. We havenever had service so good ever. Nigel raised the bar. My wife had the blackened scallops and the twin lobster tails. We came with a party of 12 yesterday evening. We were seated immediately. The food from start to finish was amazing. Every... single person loved everything they got. That being said, I think what topped the service was our server, Joel. He was amazing.He memorized every single thing we ordered from drinks, to appetizers, to food. If something was ordered, he made sure you wereaware of what was on it, he genuinely wanted you to enjoy your food and experience there. Read more
It has a very nice and welcoming interior. The waiter was extremely helpful. I ate the shrimp and grits and it was very rich, ... creamy, and the shrimp was perfect. The atmosphere is very nice and calm. The price is a little up there but I day it is wellworth it if you're looking to spend a bit on good seafood. The food was delicious. They bring out hush puppies to snack on while waiting for your food. I ordered the Seafood Lagniappe? I... ate every bite. My husband love that they were able to make his pasta more spicy and it came out delicious. All entrees comeswith hush puppies, house salad, and baked potato. Very romantic setting! Very pleasant experience from friendly staff, quaint but lovely outdoor seating and amazing food. Suggest skipping the apps (as... tempting as they look!) since the hush puppies and salad fill you up plenty and the main courses are fantastic!! Grouper Pecanand Grouper Destin were perfectly cooked with fantastic flavours (especially the pecan) and the shrimp fettuccine was a largeplate with delicious sauce and quite a lot of shrimp. Hands down one of my favorite ways to close out my annual trip to Destin, FL. Wait staff is always top notch and the food is... spectacular. The food was delicious from first bite to my last. That impressed me very much! Grouper Bayou tonight: Grouperwith a brown butter white wine reduction and lump crab meat and shrimps. Twice baked potato was very good and I?m not a huge fanof potato?s. Great place for a romantic dinner or like me a solo trip. Ladies you?ll feel comfortable here as well on a solotrip. Highly recommend. Have come here now 9 years in a row.
