HUGE omelets, delicious French toast, and wonderfully smooth coffee! This place is delightful ... and BUSY! Red Rooster opens... at 8 am and I recommend getting there no later than 8:30 or 9:00. After that, the wait for a table begins to lengthen. By 11:00am, the wait could be over one hour! Margo is one of the amazing, hardworking servers and she is a sweetheart! But the entirestaff are all full of Southern hospitality and smiles! A second recommendation: SPLIT AN ORDER! As I said, the omelets areenormous, fluffy, and filled with meat or veg. More than enough for two ... unless you're a hobbit who is also looking to takesomething home for "second breakfast"! Splitting an omelet will fill you both up AND cut your cost in half! Definitely trytheir specialty coffees -- cappuccino, latte, etc, or one of their amazing adult beverages -- mimosas, Bloody Mary's, Sunrises, and more. The charming, eclectic atmosphere feels casual, friendly, and comfortable. The menu is breakfast/brunch items that weall crave. If you're a visitor to Destin, make a point of adding this quaint little restaurant to your morning agenda. Ifyou're a local, like my wife and me, you probably already know. Read more

Delicious!! We ate here twice during our vacation and both times were equally great. Ariah was so kind and helpful! I believe... Elliot was our waiter on the second visit - nice guy and really cares about the patrons. This place is family owned, and you cantell they hustle and get it done!! We had the Red Rooster Sundae, the Breakfast Burrito and the Pancake Breakfast (which isHUGE) and each item was delicious. The wait times are longer but you can tell the food is fresh and the atmosphere is cozy andwelcoming. When the other breakfast places are slammed, do yourself a favor and wander in here. Read more

Overall my experience was nice. The food was nice (grits were a bit bland tho), portions were okay, and the coffee was good.... However, before coming here remember this is a family owned place and wait times are very long. I believe it took 2 hours forour food to come out. And it took near 45 mins to be seated. So if you?re looking for a quick bite I wouldn?t recommend thisplace. The staff was very nice and welcoming and clearly hard working. The atmosphere was also pleasant. Read more

This place is golden! The food is outstanding and the ambiance is cozy and well done. Maybe it?s the roosters but it has a Key... West feeling. Great staff and service. The French toast is unexpectedly amazing with a cinnamon butter crunch and a soft, flavorful center. Highly recommend for a great breakfast. Bring a big stomach! Read more

Overall i recommend. Great food, and fantastic server. She made sure we knew the French toast was extra sweet, but it was... delicious. My husband ordered the western omelet with ham. You choose your protein, which I thought was great. They serve itsouthwestern style (sour cream and Pico de gallo). He elected to not have those, and still really enjoyed it. I ordered theFrench toast meal, with a side of rye toast. The French toast is coated in cinnamon sugar, brown sugar, and powdered sugar. You can opt out of any, but I tried it and it was delicious. I ordered over-medium eggs, they were more over-easy. I enjoyboth, so I did not mention this to the waitress. The hashbrown casserole was fantastic!! I ordered a side of ham, and it wasalso very tasty. We arrived about 8:40 am on a Saturday, and had no wait for a table. There was a bit of a wait about an hourlater as we left. Read more
