Located in Destin, literally right on Highway 98 (going west). About 1.3 miles from the bridge. Very easy to find with plenty... of parking. Definitely not a ?corporate? type restaurant. Felt like a ?Mom & Pop? restaurant, which was nice. Plenty oftables/seats, had a small bar with a TV. We ordered the Flounder Fingers and the Oyster Basket. Reasonably priced. Both werenice sized servings, fried of course. There were 8 fried oysters with French Fries, coleslaw, hush puppies and a corn fritter. A very enjoyable meal. The Flounder Fingers were just as advertised ? fried fish with some tartar sauce. If you want to go toa place to eat with no frills, no corporate name and some food with that Southern style, this would be your place. Read more

Best bang for the buck when you come to Destin. We randomly choose this place for lunch after playing in the gulf all morning... and I'm so glad we did. If you want some amazing seafood that won't break your pocket book, this is the place to go. My wifeordered the shrimp basket and said it was the best shrimp she's ever had. The shrimp slaw was also very good and has a hint offlavor that kinda reminds you of fall flavors like cinnamon. And the shrimp in the slaw can actually be found. I had thewhitefish tacos and a side of green beans. You get 2 tacos and the mango salsa they put on it is really good. There are nicechunks of mango and the white fish is well portioned and grilled perfectly and moist. Probably the best fish tacos I've had.Green beans were also very good as they had great flavor, almost as if cooked in a stew of some kind. We ordered funnel cakefries for dessert and they were also top notch, they weren't all stuck in a blob like you get at the fairs. The staff werereally friendly as if they'd known you for years and the restaurant was nice and comfortable and clean. The price for the foodwas really good and even cheap compared to other seafood restaurants that are mentioned much more online and in YouTube videosof Destin. We originally planned to go to a different place for each meal while we were here, but we decided this place was sogood, that we are gonna come back again before we leave. Wonderful food, extremely friendly staff, and a great price point. The seafood dip is divine! We could wait to dig in before... taking a picture. We had a similar struggle with waiting when it came to the AYCE popcorn shrimp basket. The shrimp were friedand seasoned perfectly. The accompanying slaw was fresh and crisp. The overall service was wonderful! Great energy and service from the servers and bartender. Gave legit recommendations due to it... being our first time. Pina colada was delicious but could use a little more alcohol. The whitefish was fried to perfection andtasty. The boom boom shrimp was flavorful. The blackened grilled shrimp was good as well. The crab claws were good but were tinyfor $23. Love the homemade tartar sauces and hush puppies. Will definitely return due to being a local for all you can eat days! Read more
This place is great for the price. It is not the best seafood in Destin, but it is good. They do have outdoor seating, so that... is a plus. We had the Boom Boom Shrimp appetizer, as well as the Gumbo with Rice. We both had the seafood basket as our meal.The best, by far, was the Boom Boom Shrimp. That was the best we ever had. The rest of the food was good, not great. We ate atKenny D's earlier this week and their version of the Gumbo and basket was much better, but of course it costs more. We have them5 stars because of the service. Our waiter, Juval, was very friendly and brought everything we asked for right away. It wasworth it to come here for the service. After many failed attempts and money down the sea we found this hidden jewel! Mama Dee was very kind and personable our sever... was Alicia who made the best sweet tea! Sherry was our waitress. The food was amazing!! They were very busy, so we knew they were probably really good. From the time we... walked into the time we had our food was only about 20 minutes. This was very fast for how busy they were. Sherry was a doll andwe were very happy. We even went back the day we were leaving and got food to go because we liked it so much.
