This Destrehan Smoothie King location is the absolute worst. One of the workers actually told my mother recently when she went... there at the register ?I wish people would stop coming in so I can get off.? How insulting?! You wouldn?t have a job if itwasn?t for those customers! I?ve also gone there several times and the service is not great at all. If I could give less than one star I would. On September 9 around 2:30, I went to Smoothie King in Destrehan. I was very... insulted when the young girl working the register told me, ?I wish people would stop coming in so I could get off work?. Really! Do you realize that you have a job because of customers!!! When she did me a favor by taking my order, she looked atme and said, ?I can?t check you out. The employee who came in signed into the register to work, but went shopping at the DollarStire next door?. The employee taking my order was locked out of the register. So, you come to work, clock in, and goshopping!! I asked her what do we do now? I?m not waiting around for the other employee to finish shopping. I was gettingready to leave when someone else came from the back and did something in the register so she could check me out. Usually when I come here the workers are very nice. But today I came in one girl was saying how she should have locked the doors... before customers came in.
