This Destrehan Smoothie King location is the absolute worst. One of the workers actually told my mother recently when she went... there at the register ?I wish people would stop coming in so I can get off.? How insulting?! You wouldn?t have a job if itwasn?t for those customers! I?ve also gone there several times and the service is not great at all. If I could give less than one star I would. On September 9 around 2:30, I went to Smoothie King in Destrehan. I was very... insulted when the young girl working the register told me, ?I wish people would stop coming in so I could get off work?. Really! Do you realize that you have a job because of customers!!! When she did me a favor by taking my order, she looked atme and said, ?I can?t check you out. The employee who came in signed into the register to work, but went shopping at the DollarStire next door?. The employee taking my order was locked out of the register. So, you come to work, clock in, and goshopping!! I asked her what do we do now? I?m not waiting around for the other employee to finish shopping. I was gettingready to leave when someone else came from the back and did something in the register so she could check me out. Sincecustomers are an ?inconvenience ? for them, I absolutely will not return to this store. I will go to another Smoothie Kinglocation where my presence and money are appreciated. Read more

Usually when I come here the workers are very nice. But today I came in one girl was saying how she should have locked the doors... before customers came in. I order a smoothie everyday for breakfast. The girls know me by name and what I like. I am picky and a couple of them have made... suggestions for me to try new things. If I get busy and forget to pick it up in a timely manner they put it in the cooler orbring it over. ( I work really close). I appreciate the attention to detail and the smiling faces every morning. The girl Allison gave the absolute BEST customer service I have ever had at this location. She greeted me when I walked in,... walked me through the menu since I didn't know what I wanted, and asked me how my day was going. She even made my smoothiequick. She recommended the pineapple surf smoothie and I loved it. I will definitely be back for that one again. 10/10experience and I couldn?t have asked for better customer service from this young lady. By far the worst smoothie king. Every time I go I have a bad experience. Tonight I went in to get a smoothie and one of the... girls had her boyfriend behind the counter making his own smoothie. He definitely did not work there. Also my smoothie tastedhorrible. Pretty sure they used the wrong flavor of gladiator powder. Every time I go in I feel like I am inconveniencing theworkers. This smoothie king needs new management.
