We had been told a few times about the restaurant and didn't visit because some of our friends had heard there were issues... between the chef and owner. However, we still decided to take a gamble and were very glad we did. Food was great. Server wasvery accommodating and music/atmosphere was nice, as well. Definitely plan on returning. My wife is from S. America so for herto say it's now on her short list is saying something . Read more

Our family enjoyed a delicious brunch! We started off sharing the chicken tamale - the chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned... wrapped in a moist and tasty masa - and the lobster bisque was fresh and full of lobster meat. We then moved on to the BoleroBenedict and the Egg and Chorizo scramble atop pureed Black Beans. Both dishes were divine, we were almost licking our plates! We are looking forward to dining here for the evening meal. Highly recommend! Read more

The waiter had no idea what he was doing/ what was on the menu. When he forgot to bring our soup, he said “oh we have to... re-heat it.” I ordered a medium steak... they gave me burnt shredded beef. When I received my plate I told the waiter “I’mconfused.” He replied with “Me too.” I should consider myself lucky he forgot to bring out our calamari. I honesty wouldnot have fed the food to my dog. DO NOT GO HERE. Read more

Went to this Latin restaurant for their owner's, Vicente, Wine Night. It was excellent. Located in midtown, this is the sister... location to Vicente's Cuban Cuisine downtown. The atmosphere is great; modern and chic. It's also pretty upscale. There was aclarinet orchestra playing, which is much different than their conga drums at the Cuban restaurant. The wine dinner consisted ofa 6 course meal paired with a wine for each meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone going on a date night, service is wonderful. Read more

I like the restaurant location in a quiet part of midtown Detroit, very nice place with exceptional space and service. Food is... good and portions a bit large, so splitting entrees is a good idea. ...I think the menu needs a little work: Latin cuisine isnot only comprised of Mexican, Argentinean and Peruvian dishes. I'd like to see Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil included. Also, the appetizers should include more tapas style small plates. Read more
