I ordered thru door dash today 15 pic lrg shrimp, 10 pic whole wings dinner w/ drink, 2 pic fish. $37.50est. I received a 4pic... dinner 12 shrimp and a sm drink in a dirty a%s cup!!. No accountability from Captain J or door dash. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROMHERE EVER AGAIN!!! NOR USE DOOR DASH!!... We surprised my nephew at school and he begged to come to this location. I was not happy with the customer service and the way... the employees talked/treated the African-American patrons. As an out-of-town visitor, I was really uncomfortable with theenvironment. Furthermore, the male cashier got into a very heated argument with one of his customers. Apparently hisadvertisement sign was displaying a 10-piece wing for a certain amount however, inside the store he charged the lady $7 more.His excuse was he was to busy to go outside and change the sign. I'm glad restaurants are still on the east side of Detroit. Onthe other hand, the owners of these locations really should be more appreciative of the support people in the area areproviding. This Captain Jay's was definitely the worst place. Never will I eat or spend my hard earned money there. They refried some old... fish and chicken and sold it to me. They should be retrain or better yet fired for that. Once again unbelievable never again.So disappointed in Captain Jay's. This place should be ashamed of themselves. Read more
Although this location is not in the best area. They have the best food. Chicken and fish is always hot and fresh. They take ebt... and charge a fry fee. Don't sleep on this location. Read more
They need to hire more people the staff seem tired but they we're helpful
