My fiancé and I had our rehearsal dinner at The Firebird Tavern! It was reasonably priced and the food was excellent. The only... issue was we ran out of food towards the end (only a couple people were effected), but we were able to order chicken wings andpretzels for them. My only suggestion is to order more food than not, especially if your family is full of ?foodies? like ours.Amazing venue on the second floor, it was set up on time, they even put cute center pieces out! I went here early in the day for lunch. This is a pub style bar & restaurant. Very traditional but a great atmosphere. I enjoyed... my vegetarian dish. Was pleasantly surprised. The ravioli was homemade and the veggies were nice and fresh. Read more

Decided to stop in for a bite to eat before a concert. We went upstairs and were 2 of only a few people up there. The bartender... Rob was awesome. There was another two girls who were great too, just can?t remember their names. The food was even better.Absolutely delicious, well cooked, prepped etc. and It came out as quick as you?d expect at your local Mexican joint. I cannotrecommend this place enough. The Firebird Tavern in Greek Town is a great place to host any group venue. Jenna is a true professional and could not have... been more helpful when organizing our rehearsal dinner from long distance. The food was delicious, the staff friendly andhelpful, and the second floor space with its stunning bar and brick walled rooms made for a very comfortable evening. Fun washad by all. Awesome place! The food was fantastic. The drinks were great too with lots of choices! The poutine fries were delicious! This... would definitely be in my top ten of poutine fries and I try them alot! Our courdon blue chicken sandwich was fantastic. I amnot sure what the breading is but it is perfect! The mix with the perfect bun and argula lettuce is just great! Our server Lanawas helpful, friendly and attentive! The atmosphere is great like old world pub! Nicely decorated for Christmas! Just a greatplace! I would highly recommend making this one of your stops when visiting Detroit. Oh and they are open again as a BuffaloBills Backer spot for the Thanksgiving day game.
