***Inquire about ALL preparations*** This restaurant is truly an experience, I have dined there 4 times in the last year. The... ambiance is great & the food is very flavorful. However, they do tend to get too experimental. I ordered the tomahawk, a $225cut. The menu does not state how it's prepared. This cut is cooked in balsamic vinegar & mushrooms. It really should have beenleft to speak for itself as it truly tasted very bitter. Management at first was skeptical about my qualms with the cut but whenI was persistent they accommodated & did what they could; unfortunately that involved searing off the vinegar & cooking the meatmore than I desired. I communicated that this should be relayed in the menu & they said they'd consider that. Overall it isalways a good time, just be explicit with your waiter to relay how the food is prepared to avoid a disappointment such as mine. Read more

The most amazing elevator to an astounding restaurant. Something just triggered when the doors opened. Was it the open seating,... the staggering bar or the breathtaking view? All of the restaurant is classy and welcoming. The menu is filled with customdrinks and food. Fabulous service. Fun, happy and obviously the associates love their jobs. Raquel, Sarah and John behind thebar is energetic and has a great sense of humor. This visit is a must! Read more

We had 2 three course meals with various other items and some dessert. This place offers two different menus, one being a... reserve menu with higher offerings, but I think we looked younger to the staff and the waiter did not offer us this menu. Thanksfor thinking lesser of us. Saved me money. The offerings are good but review them ahead of time. The food was good overall. Butthe ambience and trashy employees kinda killed the vibe. Not kid friendly as we heard kitchen staff cursing and swearing. On topof that, overheard their staff talking negatively about some of the customers. I guess this is a good upscale restaurant if youlike being discriminated for how you look or what they think you can afford and having people talk behind your back. Overall, meh. There are better places nearby like the Chophouse in Detroit and other places in Troy. Read more

10/10 one of the best date nights we?ve ever had. Our server, Chad, was incredible. He made our experience memorable, he was... knowledgeable and guided us through the menu. The sommelier, Joseph, was fun and knew his stuff! Okay the food. Wow! From thecocktails to the dishes, the level of care was spot on. Nothing was over salted, it was flavorful and the presentation waswonderful. Our eyes ate the dish before we even tasted it. All around, we cannot stop talking about how great this date was.Thank you Highlands!! Read more

Absolutely love this place. Came to check out their venue space for our wedding and decided to try out their food while there.... They have a course experience where you pay a flat fee for 3 courses per person. They do a really good job on giving you a widevariety of options per course. Their drinks are very tasteful and appealing. Their food presentation is wonderful as well. Wetry and make it a purpose to go back periodically. The menu items do change by season so that was a wonderful surprise. It is alittle on the higher end cost wise, but you are paying for the experience and high quality ingredients. Would highly recommend!! Read more
