Wow I wasn't expecting the food to be as excellent as it was. The fried ice cream was delicious and the service phenomenal.
After basically being told to kick rocks at Sierra Station when we arrived over an hour before closing (they told us they were... closed after we walked in), we decided to head over to La Cena, and boy were we glad we did. We were warmly greeted, seatedpromptly, and the food was excellent. All of it totally made up for the poor experience we just had at Sierra and then some. Hi, my name is Kristina! I work at La Cina and now I?ve only been there for three days and I can say that these are the nicest... most wonderful and business savvy people I have ever worked for! They are so kind and they took me in as one of their own rightaway! The bartender Alan is so nice that he walks me to my car every night! The servers Sam, Katie and Carey have taken me undertheir wing have helped me especially Katie! The cooks are incredibly kind and love their jobs so much that it shines throughthem when they are behind the line cooking! The manager runs a smooth Operation and really cares for his staff and the customerexperience. I?m feeling very lucky and blessed to be a part of this organization! Wait staff seemed uncomfortable or preoccupied with servicing my family.only eight tables and we had to wait for 10min to sit... at a table that was empty and needed cleaning. She was jittery and forgetful. The food most definitely needed more flavor.Bartender was friendly. Chocolate sundae was made with what seemed like little Debbie brownies and was hard.
