The waygu sandwich was great! Really good bread and it tastes great. Didn't hold together well. Their BBQ sauces are a bit... spicy, but taste good. Not a fan of the fries, too much cheese stuff for me. Read more

Lucky's BBQ is in a new set of four restaurants in the, as "They" say, the "Up and Coming Detroit." It's very, very overpriced.... Not unlike many of the other restaurants that are now in Downtown Detroit. The Wagyu beef IS very good and it IS very fatty. My understanding is that the fattiest adds to the flavor, but the beef is from Japan and bred differently to make it healthier. I'm from Texas and can state Lucky's beef is good IF the little lady that works there does not smash it down to remove some ofthe grease, aka, flavor. Sometimes you just can't win. Anyway, I'd say try it once. Bring your wallet. Indulge in theGinger drink. It's $5.00, but quite tasty. So, to finish off, I only go to this restaurant because of the convenience ofwhere I work. I would not suggest it otherwise. Read more

Dissatisfied with my meal here. Food was overpriced for the portions and quality. 7 dollars for a 4 oz cup of mac and cheese... that had a striking resembalance to the taste of mac n cheese powder sauce from box... Only thing i did enjoy was the overpriced craft rootbeer... And the bisquit/bun they used for their sandwhich.. Do not recommend Read more
