I first tried Manhattan Chicken last week. My friend was looking for a place to get a large order from for a funeral repast and... thought he tried one location near him, but wasn't sure. I suggested we get a couple dinners from the place near my house andtry them out beforehand. We called on Sunday and asked how and when to place a large order and they were reallyinformative. The next day, I ordered dinner combos with dark meat and whole wings just to try them out before we commited tothe large order. The phone-in order was ready in about 20 min. We tried it and LOVED it. Great flavor, tasted fresh, anddecently generous portion. The next day, I walked in and placed the larger order for 100 piece dark meat (legs and thighs) andwhole wings. They suggested a deposit (I put down half) and I requested a pickup for 3:30 the next day. On pickup day, it wasready and they carried the order to my car (3 trays) and provided their lemon pepper spice on the side. The chicken was thefavorite of everyone during the reception. It was up against homemade mac & cheese and rib tips and the chicken stole the show.It really was very good and there was plenty for folks to take home a plate. It went SO fast I forgot to get a picture of thefull trays and barely got one before they were empty. (See pics). I'll have to get better pics next time! The guys at ManhattanFish and Chicken at the Warren Rd location were super friendly, great with questions, and reasonable. All of the food was servedhot and fresh (I needed gloves to carry the pans in for the reception). I would definitely recommend them and might try theirother locations too! Read more
My previous rating was fair, but even though I did not contact management, this store has changed so much for the better and... their fried perch ranks right up there a little lower than my momma's (rip). Read more
