Came here on Friday night at 730 and they weren't taking any more names for the list. Never heard of a place turning people away... so early (they close at 9pm) but seems to be a Detroit thing as it happened somewhere else too. Our party of 4 came back thenext day when they opened and got in no problem. We had the roasted carrots for an appetizer and shared some pizzas. Red saucewas our favorite over the white. I had a pepperoni pizza and the pierogi pizza and they were both fantastic. Cooked perfectly with a crispy outside crust and... great sauce. I can?t compare it to other pizza in Detroit as this is the only one I?ve had but it was an excellent couple ofpizzas and I?d recommend it to anyone. Read more
First time trying out deep-dish pizza. Was flavourful and much better than regular pizza. Portions were decent, price was okay.... Service was friendly as well. Something to try out if you've never had this type of pizza before. Read more
So many great things to say about this place. It?s a husband and wife who run the business. She was working the front and was... amazing. Her husband made an incredible pie in the back. Of course we got the ?Detroit Style? pie and a awesome salad. Greatbeer selection. The pie we got was long drive home which was great. It was made with a great homemade vodka sauce, Italiansausage, and banana peppers. It?s one of the best pizzas I?ve ever had. I love the crisp of the crust but it?s light and airy.Not a heavy za at all. I will be back next time we fly to Detroit. I wish we had a pizza place like this in Raleigh NC with somany ?Detroit Style? pizza. Keep doing your thing and see you soon hopefully. Read more
The whole experience was stellar from start to finish. Super friendly staff/owners greeting you upon arrival, excellent rooftop... patio seating was a bonus option, the food was just next level from the pizza right down to the waffle fries. Dare I say best pizza in Detroit? Have never had a bad pie here - also love that they do rotating ?good corner? pizzas to donate... part of the proceeds to local charities! Ridiculously good pizza. There is limited seating so go early. The roasted carrots are very tasty, with hot honey, slivered... almonds and goat cheese. Drink prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly. Read more
