I don?t know if I would have gone out of my way to eat here but it was so close to our hotel so I felt like I had too. All... orders are done through the side alley window and then you can take it inside to eat. It?s better than I thought it would be.Meatballs have a nice spice to them. Staff is nice and friendly. The food is incredible!! You get so much! And it's already boxed to go! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. There is... a small seating area inside Union Assembly, but only on the left (as you enter from Woodward). It was a pretty cool experience coming to Mom?s Spaghetti. This place is owned by Eminem and they cater to the military. We had... our meal for free and the spaghetti wasn?t bad and they give really big portions. I was eating this for several days as theygive a lot. It comes in this cute Togo box and you eat straight out of it. We ate inside so we were able to go into the shopwhile was the replicate of the trailer he used to live in. This was inside the restaurant. It was a cool experience even if thenoodles were over cooked. I would?ve liked more sauce and cheese in my spaghetti. Ran into this place without knowing how famous it was! The wait was moderate (30 mins) even when it was on Sunday afternoon. The... meatball spaghetti was just like quick homemade pasta but the sandwich was surprisingly good. The bread was perfectly toastedand unique with spaghetti in it. Myself, and a few friends, drove to Detroit from New York & New Jersey for some Mom's Spaghetti this weekend, and I have to say,... it was way better than expected. We were all satisfied. The food was Delicious, and the service was Fantastic. The girl who tookour order went above & beyond for our group. She even mentioned to the second owner that we drove 10 hours to get there, and hegave us extra sandwiches for the drive back. I wish I had caught her name, but she made our trip there that much more memorable.Thank You so much for doing more than just your job Ms. Lady. As well as the young lady at the gift shop. I was surprised to not find a line going on a Thursday night. Friendly service and neat little place inside union assembly. ... The spaghetti and vegan meatballs were super tasty. The spaghetti sauce was not drowned out by tomatoes but it had a sortasweetness to it (not overbearing). I would definitely come back again when I am in town. Read more
