Went last night and sat at the bar for dinner. Great service, food came out in a very timely manner, and the ambiance was... amazing. But the food was exceptional— this vegetable paella had so much flavor. We also got the baked goat cheese which wasvery good and the grilled stone fruit salad served on a bed of whipped ricotta. An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Every dish was beautiful and flavorful. The burger was one of the best... I’ve tasted in the Detroit area. The service is friendly and helpful. Lots of wine/beer/cocktail options also. Olin isdefinitely a top tier restaurant. Read more
This restaurant is truly special - amazing interior design and fantastic service. They nail all of the details - flooring,... lighting, dish ware, food, and drinks. It’s walkable to just about anywhere downtown and you can park at the Z garage and walkin if you’re driving there. Their menu changes with time, but their short rib and cauliflower were amazing ???? My girlfriend and I dined at Olin last week, really convenient location near the Shinola Hotel. The overall vibes were... fantastic, the restaurant was fairly empty as we went early evening on a Thursday. Our waitress did a wonderful job recommendingsharable for us, we enjoyed all the items we got. Olin has good prices too, great spot to grab a meal with a friend or abusiness dinner. Read more

Very nice! A little pricey for what you're getting, but great Ambience and very delicious drinks. The oysters and escargot were... especially good. I usually prefer everything on the side with the oysters, Tabasco gel was a little spicy for me so I scrapedmost of it off, should have asked for Tabasco jelly and mignotte on the side.. otherwise they were delicious. Escargot wasdelicious! Loved the onion and mushroom skewer. House-made bacon was very good, wasn't the hugest fan of the seasoning butstill tasty. Loved the puree it came on. Autumn salad was okay, arugula is overwhelming which I am not a big fan of. Menu didnot state arugula was used or I would have not ordered. Read more
Good food. Crispy sweet potatoes my personal recommendation and don’t get the Jungle bird, total disappointment. Main course... easily shareable between 2. Had to ask server several times for getting clean plates and also had to wait for her to arrive ontable throughout the dinner to place order. PS in her defense it was a busy night so no complaints but just heads up, it getsbusy on weekend nights. All in all good experience. I’d definitely go back to Olin. Read more
Absolutely delicious meal and drinks! I was blown away by the salmon tartine and burger. So flavorful and well balanced. The... burger was amazingly cheesy. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy Friday night. I will definitely be back! Would highlyrecommend for any special occasion as it is a little pricey, but well worth it. Read more
