The pizza was really really good. There's a lot of good pizza places in the city, and Rose's does not fail to impress. We do... very much miss grandpa's pancakes. Roses used to be a regular breakfast joint for us somewhat. The egg sandwich was amazing.Maybe sometime they will bring my favorite pancakes in the city back!! Read more

I really enjoyed their food. I got the snack plate and split that with my fiancé. It was a beautiful day outside and their... outdoor tables & umbrella were perfect! They also have lovely flowers. ???????? Read more

Great vibe. Great little menu. Perfect place for lunch, coffee or a glass of wine. Small table seating and bar area (not ideal... for large groups?more of an intimate/quaint setting). Driving by you would never expect this place to have such a cool interior. The staff is great too. Make a trip over, you?ll be glad you did. Looks like there is a nice outdoor seating area too?I?ll beswinging back by when the weather warms up! REVIEW UPDATE: Came back for lunch recently and was a little disappointed. Theleafy green salad was literally just a bowl of greens. That is what the menu says, but seems silly to pay $6.50 for a bowl oflettuce. The egg & cheese sandwich was rather greasy. Mostly bread. They didn?t allow for any substitutions/changes. Would benice if the sandwiches came with a side chips, or a side of something. A bit overpriced for what you actually get. I guess it?smore about the vibe (which is great), than the actual menu. I like what they?re trying to do and I?m always happy to support alocal business. Read more

Delicious bakery with cheese and wine selections. The cute outdoor seating area could use some music. Dog friendly!

I've been a long time lover of Rose's Fine Foods. I've enjoyed the "Staff Favorite" breakfast bowl since I arrived in... Detroit. Rose's is a staple of the Detroit Brunch circuit and I was very excited to see cocktails on the menupre-pandemic. Over the past year, a lot of restaurants have been forced to make tough choices, but I don't think anyone hasmade a pivot quite as deftly as Rose's Fine Food and Wine. The move into bottles and smaller plate items is a great decision. You can tell there has been considerable thought put into all of the decisions made throughout the interior and exterior. Whilemost of the interior seating has been removed, there are more overall options to eat and mingle with the expansion of theoutdoor dining. Picnic tables, umbrellas and planter beds were added last year and I hear more is on the way. It's fun to seestaff run between the kitchen and vegetable gardens as they prepare food. I'm excited to see what the summer weekend menuofferings are. The staff mentioned there may be a limited menu, so hopefully we see some old favorites. I look forward tokeeping this spot in rotation as we all try to get back to "normal." Read more
