Stopped in for an impromptu dinner while visiting Detroit for a conference. I was pleasantly surprised by the classy, modern... atmosphere then surprised again by the sophisticated cocktail menu. Every drink had an interesting and complex twist on aclassic drink. I ordered the Dog Days Negroni with a burger for dinner. The burger was cooked exactly as I ordered and toppedwith delicious sauteed mushrooms. The cocktail was, hands down, one of the best negronis I've ever drank. I will be visitingagain when I'm back in Detroit and encourage everyone to give this place a try. Read more

Amazing bar! First time in Detroit we stumbled on this cool looking alley with lots of people and great night life. Saw this... spot at the end of the alley and we had to check it out! Josh behind the bar served us some fantastic cocktails. Ask for TheLast Word if you wanna taste a Detroit classic. Went to Standby few times already, never disappointed. Sometimes a short wait to get in after 10pm, but it's worth it. Great... cocktail selection, even better mixology masters behind the bar.
