9 out of 10 times food great poor service at end of night find a better way to close out there day
I left a one star because zero is not an option! I ordered on DoorDash and got a call from my Dasher. The Dasher says "The... restaurant gave my order to the wrong person, so they could not give my order to my Dasher." I was then told to ask DoorDash fora refund for a mistake made by the restaurant. I have been waiting for my food for 30 minutes and know I have to wait an hour toget a refund because DoorDash and Sweetwater will not answer the phone or help my Dasher. I went in to grab a simple order of cheese sticks and fries for my daughter. I gave them 20 minutes when I came in to get my... food a lady was going off saying her order was wrong and they gave her cheese sticks and fries she didn?t order. So it was twopeople in front of and two door dash orders.So when it?s my turn I ask for my money back plane and simple because I know I?m myheart the fries and cheese sticks the lady gave them back was mine and that they would still try to serve them to me. At thispoint I?m 35 minutes in for cheese sticks and fries and refused to wait another minute after they said my food was right there.I said I?m good don?t want a problem just my money back period. The lady was intoxicated and no one ever apologized or anything.The worst part is that tipped 3 dollars when I made my order but wasn?t petty enough to want my tip back. I?m kinda hurt mydaughter was at home sick and craving something salty and the whole ordeal ate up all my time and I couldn?t stop at anotherrestaurant and had to cancel a very important appointment to stay home and cook her something.Very disappointed will notrecommend any one eat from Sweetwater ever. I?m officially done with Sweetwater Tavern! How do you give me mashed potatoes with mold on them!? Yes mold, the smell is... horrible. When I opened the container it was slimy. It completely ruined my? appetite. Then when I called the guy in thebackground screaming I made them fresh this morning. How long did this sit out for it to even accumulate mold? All they offeredme was another side option. The young lady who answered the phone was extremely nice. She?s the reason I gave them two stars. Ifyou want sweet water make the drive downtown. Read more
Food is decent at best. The customer service is terrible. The staff is extremely rude and don?t appear clean. It?s obvious they... have zero standards when it comes to customer service. I?ve seen staff out back behind the restaurant smoking while no one wasin front to service anyone. It?s the audacity and attitude for me will not patronize again. Read more

The lady who took my order over the phone was professional and polite. Now, down to The food... The rib tips are too delicious... and they give you plenty of yummy sauce. However, everything else, INCLUDING the wings I love so much from the downtownlocation, was just mediocre at best. Not enough sauce on the wings and they still had a bunch of the thin hairs on them. The Redbeans and rice... in the trash. The mac and cheese is a Joke. Look at the other pic of mac n chez it looks 1000× better thanmines. It almost NO CHEESE!!! (My 2 year old loved it but she enjoys bland food!!!) The 4? is ONLY for the rib tips & becausethe food was hot!!!! Read more
