I was so looking forward to this experience and I have to say I was pretty disappointed. Pros: open air ambiance, cool decor,... great location, great view of the ballpark, nice drink selection. Cons: Seats were basically a padded bench, no back to lean onand we were facing away from the view of the ballpark ???? My back was sore by the time we left. Server slow to approach. Myhusband is all about his beer... Server finally came, took his drink order and disappeared. When he eventually returned emptyhanded, my husband had to remind him about his beer. Oh yeah... Sorry... Finally the beer showed up and he took our food order -pastrami pizza. Nearly an hour later we got our pizza... 4 thin slices for $18! The pizza was good but not at all what Iexpected. 4 small pieces. Before we were even done eating he brought our bill. Would have normally gotten dessert but he didn'task and after our experience so far we didn't bother to ask, we just wanted to get out of there. Then we realized the bill wasincorrect, charged for a drink we didn't order. Wait wait wait for server to return, tell him about the error... So sorry ????ugh. Finally again we wait for him to make it right. Hubby still gave him 20% tip which I sure wouldn't have. We were comingfor an early birthday dinner before a ballgame. I was so underwhelmed believe me I will not be returning. ???? Read more

I have one thing to say before we get into gear here. A lot more people would have the opportunity to review this place, if it... was actually Union Assembly that came up in your google maps, instead of Mom's Spaghetti, which is also located in the samearea. Okay, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's GO!!! I've had the pleasure of dining in here a few times now, andhave been able to experience both being seated inside, and out. They both have their perks, and usually if you are able to snaga spot outside, on a nice day after the sun has made it's way over the surroundings, then you're most certainly in for a lesscrowded (than inside) treat. If the weather is nice enough, this place essentially becomes and open air eatery as most of thewalls slide open creating an amazing environment and an even better eating experience. If you're familiar with the restaurantgroup behind this place, and you've been to any of the sister establishments, then you might already have some sort of idea asto what you're in for. To be honest I am glad that I got in here when I did because the more this place catches on, the lessyou're going to be able to find a table here. This place is located smack dab in the middle of all of the "goings on" in thispart of town, which means a couple of things. There is always something to do either before or after you eat here, and youreally should consider calling ahead to get yourself a table. When you walk in, one of the first things that will happen isthat you'll be greeted by one or more of the myriad of super friendly, professional, and inviting staff members that call thisplace home. Probably the first thing you'll notice beyond that is the cylindrical DJ booth that is suspended above theentrance/bar area, which I find to be a unique and neat touch. As you look around you may notice that this establishment is madeup of multiple floors, all which contain their own bar and seating areas. Which is nice if the main level happe Read more

My sons and I had a very enjoyable meal here while passing through Detroit. Service was excellent with staff fitting us in... despite being very busy. Our waitress Sabrina looked after us very well. The food was good, not excellent, but as to be expectedwith such a high throughput of diners. I had the Mussels and the Mac & Cheese. The beer ( I tried the 3 Floyds Gumballhead) wasfantastic!!! I thoroughly recommend this place if you are in Detroit, just expect a bit of a wait at the busiest times. Read more

The traditional Detroit Deep Dish pizza is phenomenal! Light, crispy and delicious. Service was fast and a very good choice... if you're in the area. Our server Veena was also very friendly, efficient and overall made the 1st Experience a great one. Read more

I actually really love this place! It is just so much fun and has surprises every corner. There are some things that still might... require some honing in on. For example, I discounted the crushed olives in the manchego fritters as just extra crumbs until thelast minute. I just wished that there was some kind of better plating for that. The salmon was amazing. I could eat the sauceall day long. Definitely a brilliant dish. But can we talk about that chocolate bomb? OMG it was amazing!!!!!! Definitely planon returning to try out the many unique dishes offered! :) Absolutely loved their Reuben. It was well grilled and had a goodratio of sauerkraut to corned beef to dressing. My friends really enjoyed their pizza as well. Their cocktails are really good, especially their Manhattan which was probably the smoothest I've had. Read more
