This is by far the nicest restaurant in a wide area. Every detail of your visit has been anticipated, every want taken care of... in advance. The food is absolutely delectable. The ambiance is perfect. The location is lovely, quiet, and beautiful. Irecommend it for an evening of pure enjoyment. You will probably spend about $40 per person on the meal and be glad because youprobably would have been willing to pay much more. Read more

I would definitely recommend this place the next time you're in Detroit Lakes. Great quality food. Beautiful restaurants and... lake view. Great service. Love the atmosphere. Its a bit pricey than other places but it's worth it. The Hamilton steak mostexpensive. Otheriwse other entrees reasonable and what you'd expect in a higher end eatery. Everything was absolutely deliciousand fresh. My husband and I went for dinner for our anniversary this year. They have a great selection of drinks (both alcoholand virgin drinks. I had the strawberry lemonade refresher. Was delicious). I had the Hamilton steak and my husband had the newyork strip I believe. Both mouthwatering. They had a good selection of food as well. The dessert was very good too even thoughlooked simple. The taste was very rich and moist. Better than I assumed would be. Try Fireside...you won't be disappointed. Read more

Great food, great service, great experience. My wife and I had the almond crusted walleye and the ribeye steak. Both were... great and the steak cooked perfectly. We were not rushed and given time to enjoy each course and drinks. If I had to give anegative I would say skip the add on scallops to make the steak surf and turf. Although the scallops were good, their was onlytwo small scallops for $11. Just not worth it to us. But that’s a very minor set back. And you get plenty of food with yourorder(salad, bread, sides) We would highly recommend and we will certainly be going back. Read more
Absolutely phenomenal! The food was delicious, our server Barb was so nice and just amazing! The portions were generous as well.... The plates, and cheese boards were so cool. Then you add the view of the sun setting over the lake! Just fantastic! Read more
