***update October 2022*** Bumping up to 4 stars. I don?t eat here a ton but the past 3 or 4 times I?ve gotten carry out from... this place, they have really improved their estimated finish times. The pizza taste has also improved over time. Great workCottage Inn Dexter. ***update November 2018*** New management must not be very good. Every time I order carry out from thisplace and they give me a time that the pies will be ready, they consistently take 15 min to half an hour longer than theyestimate. One of the last times I was in here I paid and then waited for 20-30 min in the seating area only to ask where mypizza was and it had been sitting on their carry out shelf for god knows how long and they didn?t even call out my name! Therewere numerous people waiting in the seating area so there is just no excuse for that. If you see people waiting, check to see ifit?s their order dummies. Losing patience with this place. ????????? I usually order pizza to go from here. They always haveit ready quickly and it's pretty decent. I do like their Inn Sticks but lately they have been drenching them in oil which makesthem nasty to eat after like 5 minutes. Super greasy. Staff is usually friendly and quick. Good pizza, always something new. The latest is a BLT pizza...Yum! The lunch pizza salad bar buffet is always a good choice.
Pizza is good but staff not. I placed an order and was charged $15 for a few sides of ranch. When addressed at pickup, asked to... speak to manager. When she came out, the supposed manager was not the manager but the person who overcharged us. The other girlplayed it off prior as she was the one herself that overcharged us. No one there knew what was going on. When asked about theovercharge by $15, it was played off as the computers fault. When gotten to bottom of, they both lied and made it up. I don?tcare if someone makes a mistake , but for staff to not care and take peoples money without any reason is not good business. Ihope the owner of this location can read this and address the situation since this is happening to many other customers if youorder a side of anything. Read more
My wife ordered subs for us for dinner last week. I ordered the turkey club. Well when I received mine it wasn't what I had... ordered. It was a turkey and cheese sub. Despite being the wrong sub it had only 2 thin slices of turkey on each half of thesub. If I'm paying almost $12.00 for a sub it had better be done up right and definitely more than two slices of turkey. Iknow they had an excuse when my wife called to complain about it being the wrong sub plus not being properly made. Their excusewas that they had new employees working and didn't know. Ok fine I guess I can buy that. But seriously paying almost $12.00for a sub it needs more than 2 slices of turkey on it. I have noticed a lot of places (restaurants) in the past year now havebeen charging more and putting out less than before. If you as a business is gonna charge more don't be skimping on yourportions. Haven't gotten Cottage Inn in a while but the Cuban pizza looked pretty good. Unfortunately it was mostly bread and cheese... (even though I specified lite cheese as I can't digest heavy amounts). The Carolina sauce was barely there at all -- I had tocheck, there was almost nothing -- so it was pretty dry and flavorless. I should have asked for extra, not sure if it wouldhave mattered. The ham and pickles were pretty paltry too, at least compared to the picture they are touting online. It'ssalvageable, I will just have to add my own ingredients. Just disappointed, no reason to skimp on the ingredients I wanted(then load it up with cheese when it's tough on my stomach). Read more
