Prices have become too high. Regular coffee at $3.50 is ridiculous. Menu on web site has not been updated to current prices.... Good food and a large variety, but there are plenty of other places you can get a decent breakfast at better prices and getcoffee at a reasonable price. And charging extra for paying with credit just doesn't make sense since almost everyone pays thatway now. After years of enjoying a great breakfast here I will not be going back. Read more
A nice small town cafe. Based on location it's more expensive than some diners around us. Downtown Dexter is nice. Our server... was friendly and on top of coffee fills and everything else. Food was good. Menu had most options you would look for includingcrepes... but no eggs benedict. Read more
This was my first time visiting this establishment. It's a Pleasant and quaint cafe with a nice view of the river. The service... was good. Although kitchen management seems to be lacking. All meals should come out at the same time. Not five minutesapart. I had the biscuits and gravy and my j companion had the chicken and waffles. The N&G was good, not great. It wasn'tthe best I've had, and certainly not the worst. I thought my companion's chicken and waffles were "phoned in" by using premadechicken tenders. Also, the total lack of a sauce for the dish seemed lazy. The up side, fair prices. If you're in Dexter, MIand looking for breakfast this is a decent place to stop, but don't expect any pizzazz. We waited forever to be served despite being seated. After our server took our order, we waited about an hour to get our food... while people next to us were served left and right. Our waiter never once asked us if we needed something and then we again hadto wait a long time to get the check. Food was average. Would never go back! Read more

I came for lunch with hubby on Saturday during a Michigan game on a snowy day so the place was empty, although we arrived just... around noon. Staff were all friendly and the place was roomy, neat and clean. Cute little downtown area of dexter and theresome parkings available on the street and down the street not too far from the restaurant and it was free. I ordered crepes butthey didn?t have the Macedonian nut crepe on the menu so I asked for a little customization. The order came fast and the staffwere kind enough to accommodate my custom request. The food was okay but the crepes were like 5in long at the most, which waspretty small?. It was also greasy to where it looked almost like it was fried. My husband got two eggs with bacon and lookedokay too but that was about it. He said the hash brown was made of frozen stuff and this food portion was relatively small aswell. We both just ate fine but wasn?t fully satisfied with what we got. It?s quite a shame because the pictures looked so goodand bigger portion, and the place looks cozy and cute. But for what we got and what we paid( about $28 with tip) I don?t know ifI could recommend this place, unless I?m in the area during meal time or something. Service was great though so if you?re not ahuge eater and more of someone who is looking for a place to just have a cozy meal, this place is a neat place indeed. Read more
Absolutely fantastic! Pancakes were perfectly light and fluffy, sausage was delicious! My wife chose the skillet (photo... attached) and it was so good, I was FORCED to take a bite. Good coffee, great staff, and family-owned ? highest recommendation. Read more
This was one of the most friendly service I have ever and by far the best place to have a nice breakfast. It was definitely... worth coming here for the first time. The waitress even gave me a smiley face on my pancakes. Read more
