No restaurant is 5 stars. However, as an avid traveler, foodie, and amateur chef, I would say this place is decently better than... a 4.2 rating. I?d say 4.6+. Therefore, I?m rating it a 5 to bring the average up. I?m picky. This is a family run, Mom andPop, old school Chinese restaurant despite the usual name. Their son said it was a literal translation of an eatery, orsomething. Great flavor, quality, and cuts of meat. They do a healthy takeout business, but no one seems to dine in. Accurate. Prompt. However, their dining room is immaculate! I love eating there. Always wide open. Tasteful andcomfortable! Our small towns of Dexter, Chelsea, Scio, etc., are so fortunate to have an old school place like this 5-10minutes from our rural homes without venturing into Ann Arbor. I hope you support them! I would give it zero stars if I could. The Mongolian beef was rubbery and the weirdest texture. Makes me wonder what awful cheap... cut of meat they could be using for that. The Kung Pao chicken was the tiniest of chunks, mostly breading, and the trace ofchicken that could be found inside was fatty and gross. If that wasn?t enough, they screwed up other dinners on our order. Read more

Food is okay. My fiancè got the chicken curry and the chicken was like rubber; he couldn't eat it. Seasoning and veggies were... good though. My food was good...their sweet and sour sauce is the best! We dined in, staff was friendly. Read more

I really like this place. I have been going here for lunch for many years. The owner is nice and service is quick. Overall decor... is dated, but the food is good. The lunch specials are good value. If you are really hungry, try the beef noodle bowl. Read more

Normally very consistent food and service. Looking forward to them opening back up for dine in. It's always my top suggestion to... others for Chinese/Asian food in the area. Food and service at dine in was always excellent. My last visit for take out wasstill good, just not as good as theirs normally is. My Mongolian beef was not as flavorful and tender as it normally is there. It was still as good as anyplace else, just not up to their own higher standards.
