What a gem! We ate here because my son loves trains and he had a blast following it along the track in the back room. He had... pancakes and bacon - delicious. My husband enjoyed his fried chicken. I had the chicken a la king served over biscuits. It wasso tasty and reminded me of my grandma's cooking - my compliments to the chef!!! Colleen was amazing. The whole staff was amazing. The Reubens were to die for. They make their own corned beef for them. My... children loved the breakfast buffet. Perky waitress, fast service, very clean. That being said, both of our orders were mixed up. I ordered the Ruben wrap and... could not find any cheese. Sent it back, and the waitress came back with a story about how there was cheese, and the cook put ito the grill first so it melted and you couldn't see it. Well, you can't taste it either. What an absolutely adorable place! My son loved the train going around the room near the ceiling. There's a claw game (.50), a... little ride on car ride for a quarter, and Mrs. PacMan for a quarter! They also have a little section of slots that pay out realmoney, and a cash out machine there so no wait to get the pay out. There's a disco ball, and laser machine attached to theceiling so I am guessing it transforms in the evenings. Even a big chair outside for photos. We happened to stop in during abreakfast buffet ($10) and it was delicious! All the breakfast favorites. Bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, Frenchtoast, hashbrowns, breakfast burritos, donuts, cinnamon rolls, and even orange juice! The waitstaff was excellent and on theirgame as it was packed. Had dinner last week with my family for a celebration. Katie waited on us and did an outstanding job. The owner Stacy Morrales... has a wonderful little restaurant and does a very good job. This town needs this Whistle Stop restaurant. The food was very goodand service was excellent. This gem deserves a 5 star review. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Read more
I must say, As my first time coming here. I would say that they have some very unique and great food here. When I was here I've... had the California chicken sandwich with fries and broccoli & Cheese soup. All of it tasted amazing and the quality of it wasvery appealing and good. As for the staff that is here. They were all polite, caring, and loving. Overall, I would say that myexperience here was very comfortable and right at home. I would highly recommend for everyone to take a stop here if they havenot visited here before. Read more
