I went to pick a 10 piece chicken family meal and I was greeted by the best customer service ever by Isabel. She was extremely,... very nice, and asked if I needed any add on like chips and salsa. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Ordered dinner for my 81 year old grandmother and the El Pollo Loco on Diamondbar Blvd, who on their website,... advertises that they deliver *not disclosing they deliver thru a 3rd party* Told me there was nothing they could do when myorder showed delivered but HAD NOT BEEN DELIVERED. The GM Michael (who was very unprofessional) said its "just the way it is"-they can't reach out to the driver, they can't refund my order and resend, nor can they refund me the tip. Why would I tip adriver who was incapable of delivering to the correct address/Not reading the direction provided? My other bone to pick is thefact that El Pollo Loco doesn't empower their management team to make things right for the customer. This was clearly not myfault and had it been disclosed that delivery was thru a 3rd party, I could have just selected to order via the 3rd partydirectly and have the ability to conjugate with the driver so this like this don't happen. I ended up having to order thru Ubereats directly and chose to order from a different location because I don't want my business going to a place where they don'tvalue customer service and don't offer any solutions to help fix the issue. EL POLLO LOCO can't be beat. Very good charbroiled chicken and amazing value.
Their tacos are great. I usually get of them, and so are cheacken breast pieces. I also love Spanish rice. They have curbside... right now which makes things easy and safe. Read more
Dedicated hard working staff. Keven who should be in his early 20?s really went all the way to ensure that I?ve a selection of... my choices. Being from NY he took time to know me and suggest food per my palate. Hard working, dedicated and sincere staff likehim make business establishments successful. Worst in the chain I've found yet. Franchisee "cheats" on size of chickens...comes out overcooked and dry-as-bone nasty ( see... pics of tiny wishbone and wing.) Wing was skin over bone...so they threw on another. I guess they thought two un- eatable wingswas better than one un-eatable wing. Da! Salty to the max...didn't really even taste like Polo Loco's recipe. Mac and cheese waswatered down soup. Very disappointing! No Jalipanios! Asian peppers instead. On my top 10 Worst restaurant list.
