This is such a fun place! Great dining experience! Went here on 6/10/2022 while working in the area. Service was exceptional.... The bartender, Jake I think, made great drinks. Had a Margarita and a Crown Peach, which was very tasty. Ordered somethingthey had on special, being a brisket mac-n-cheese with a side of jalapeno hot bites. Food was very good. But the atmosphere iswhat sets this place apart from anything in Dickinson. I spent about 30-minutes after I ate just to look at all the decor. The decore of the restaurant is pretty neat. All of these old signs and even a blues brothers car. At first look at the menue... the prices are on the higher side with $25 steaks and $14 burgers.....that only lasts until your food comes out. The portionsare huge! We made the mistake of buying the family style appetizer. It had a lot of food and something for everyone. We wereeven pleasantly surprised by pickle chips vs pickle spears. But then the main food came out and wow were they big! With threeteenager boys with, only one finished his meal. We hade Cade as our server. He was very nice and did a great job. He even gotthe other servers to come over and sing happy birthday to my nephew. Great experience. Read more
We were going to give the place a serious try. A father's day out. Arrived at about 145pm and the parking lot was pretty light,... thought we'd have a shorter wait so all was looking good. Went to the host station and waited. And waited. And waited. Pickedup menus to kill time and meanwhile the servers just kept looking over and no one bothered to seat us. Just as we were ready toleave a young man greeted us. We then waited for the host to arrive but something stood out. The young man was handling achilled glass with his hands and I mean rubbing every inch of the drinking surface. That was it. Seen too many shows and redflags. We were stuck in a snow storm in Dickinson and there was nowhere open to eat. We looked online and saw that Stanford?s was open.... We came in to find the director of operations for the entire chain, Mark, here by himself. He was serving, bartending, andcooking. Had a great experience. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant based on this experience. Food and drinks were verygood. Read more
We enjoyed a nice family meal out for kids eat free Sunday. First time in participating in this special and what a great deal it... is! We had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent and the food was great! There server took time to try to interact withour daughter and was very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome, my husband had a chicken sandwich and I had the chickenparm sandwich. Both were excellent! My daughter had the Alfredo noodles and they came with two sides, gummy worms and a dessertfor her. We had a wonderful family dinner and appreciate the great food and great service. Very impressed with the newmanagement of the place, this restaurant seems to be running in tip top shape from what our experience was. We of course we willcoming back. Read more
I did not want to post this publicly first, but since the company has no way to privately contact them, I am left with no... option. I dined an hour ago at Sanford's in Dickinson ND. Seated at the bar, I enjoyed a few beers and a burger. Shortly afterthe meal I paid and while sipping my beer I looked up. To my horror I noticed the glasses hanging were filthy. These glasseswere not just dusty filthy, they still have lip prints and fingerprints on them. I asked the bartender and she advised that yes,they did use these glasses, but they washed time prior to use. She explained they are not fully cleaned before hanging and thatjust did not make any sense. I informed her I had just watched another server take 4 stella glasses from the same location andload them in the cooler, so at what point do they get washed? Her response was to scold the bartender and had them washed. Thebeer might be cold, and the food might be good, but if this is how a restaurant cleans their drinkware that the public can see,I fear the kitchen is much worse. Read more
This place was great. I got the catfish and Cajun gravy with mashed potatoes. Food was great the environment was cool. I... enjoyed looking around at all the memorabilia. They have pool tables in the bar area but plenty of seating for families. Fewtvs scattered around for your sports. The menu was loaded down with choices so definitely not typical burger bar. I willdefinitely be going back. The price for 2 of us to eat was around 50 to 60 bucks. So I think it was definitely worth it. Thanks. Read more
Sanfords Grub & Pub is definitely one of my favorite restaurants! Some of my favorite meals there are the hot wings, the chicken... popper sandwich, and the chicken and waffles! Everything I have had here has been great but those are a few of my favorites. Thestaff is also friendly and wonderful. I had the most amazing waitress a few days ago, wish I could remember her name. Definitelycheck this place out. Huge menu, lots and lots of options, and very generous portion sizes. Read more
