What an amazing experience. When we entered the restaurant the vibe kinda felt like there is no way we will get spicy food... here.. but we had the red curry and a spicy stir fry and we were blown away! If you?re looking for an absolutely amazing meal, you NEED to visit Hom Thai. We got the Tom Kha soup and spring rolls for an... appetizer, both were phenomenal. But, nothing compares to the curry. My husband got the green curry with chicken and I got thepanang curry with basa. The fish was cooked to perfection, the spice level was perfect. I upgraded my rice to the coconut riceand wow! Amazing Thai food and outstanding service !!! The servers were very attentive and the food came quick. Shortly after getting our... meals the chef came to ask how the food was which was a nice touch. The food was fresh, ingredients were so flavorful. I forgotto take a pic of the meal but we had the beef curry samosas (#6), chili beef fried rice (#19) and shrimp pad kee mao (#33)followed by coconut deep fried banana with ice cream for dessert (as shown in the picture). DO NOT SKIP THIS DESSERT! It wasDELICIOUS ????. The samosas were small but packed with flavor. The main dishes were large portions, and just the right amount ofheat. We left feeling full and satisfied. My boyfriend is from NYC and compared it to the best Thai in NY. Moncton neededauthentic Thai food and Hom Thai delivers. We visited on Oct. 22 during their soft launch. Ordered the Tom Yum soup with shrimp and their papaya salad with deep fried soft... shell crab. Got to say, the soft shell crab was so much better than most places we?ve previously ordered from! Papaya salad wasso mouthwatering; crunchy, sweet, sour and a bit of heat! We were so happy and full! Lemon shrimp was spicy but soooo flavorful. Red and green curry were also super tasty. Also love... their Stir fry with cashew nut, it's like a chinese takeout without the MSG aftertaste. ???? Finally, desserts, the fried bananaw/ icecream and mango w/ sticky rice were so good too! Banana deep fried but not oily at all, and the mango sticky rice was sogreat, diff kind of sweetness from mango, rice and ice cream worked out so well! Highly recommended!
