Last minute decision to stop at this family owned/run restaurant with a party of 12. Best decision of the day. Seated... immediately without fuss, quick and friendly service. Fish fresh and cooked to perfection. Friend from Germany tried scallopsfor the first time... now addicted ... but I'm sure he'll find it difficult to impossible to match that quality. I came from Calgary and was told to try Antonio?s in Marshalltown for the best fish and seafood. I ordered fish and chips and... the owners were nice enough to give me a taste of scallops and clams on the side. I was not disappointed the food was amazingso flavourful and the atmosphere was cozy and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting NovaScotia. We felt the true nature of the people from the east coast. Owners were so kind and humble, you loved them immediately. We had... pan fried Scallops in butter sauce, fried haddock and my fav was the fried clams and Scallops...the clams were the best I'veever had!!! Everyone needs to go to Antonio's! Amazing food and fabulous service! You will not be disappointed! John, Andrea and the staff... were so welcoming, just look at that glass of wine! They not only fed us a delicious Seafood platter for two (with enough for asecond meal for us both - and we are not light eaters!) but also gave us advice on where to stay around Digby for the night withour truck camper! If you travel to Digby via the ferry or otherwise, be sure Antonio's is on your list of places to eat! We willdefinitely be back again! Thank you!! Read more
Very good food served by very nice and friendly family. The haddock and scallop combo was very good. Chicken poutine is tasty... and full of cheese. Loved their chocolate cream pie the most - One of the best I've had. Highly recommended. Read more
As always our meal was delicious! Staff is always friendly and as busy as they were they made sure to stop by our table to see... how we were doing and if we needed anything. I ordered clams and chips but substituted the mash potatoes for the chips. Theclams were so good & fresh they just melt in your mouth. My daughter ordered 2 pieces of fish with chips. Although she didn'trealize the fish was beer battered (as she wouldn't have ordered it) she was pleasantly surprise the breaded was very thin &light. The fish was fresh and very good. Literally the best fish and chips I have ever had. So unbelievably fresh, the fish stays really really moist, and flaky. It's... unmatched. Also love that it's dairy-free!!! Yum! My partner had the chocolate pie and said it was amazing. It's very endearinghow invested the staff are, and proud of what they do (and damn, they do it well).
