The food was amazing, best we?ve had on this trip. The three stars are for the long wait to get our food. We were there for 2.5... hours, 45 of which we were waiting for dessert which we never got, we got tired of waiting and left. After reading ownerresponse, we will definitely give the place a second chance when back in NS, I understand staffing issues. We dîne there on Thursday and since it was so delicious, we went again on Saturday. The food is simply amazing and the service... is awesome. We asked our server about the Chef and it turns out that he is her son. What an amazing story she told us about theChef's journey. We will be back in the fall when when the menu changes (every 4 months). Read more
Okay this place is just awesome. First the gluten free options where so extensive I had to choose a bunch of starters not not... have food regrets. Everything was excellent my it food regret was not getting the large chowder the best I ve ever had It's abeautiful place, wonderful location and if you sit on one of thier decks you can look over the harbour. Great pub and food. We were seated outside to an excellent view of the ocean. Owner was friendly and greeting guests and had a... chat with us. Servers were knowledgeable especially around gluten free items which for someone with Celiac was reallyreassuring. We got the seafood chowder (gf) and the Sydney Burger along with some recommended beers and ciders. Would recommendthis spot to anyone in Digby especially those with Celiac disease. Read more
