I?m from Ontario, and I?m never eating scallops or lobster unless I?m back here. Game changer, it was so delicious and fresh. I... ordered the scallops in 3 ways (pan fried was my fave) and a lobster roll. I?ve been trying lobster rolls and this place has itby far the best. Huge chunks of lobster, not overly dressed in mayo. I could taste the actual lobster and how fresh (no fishyafter taste). The bun was perfectly soft and buttered, but still with a crisp. I highly recommend, for myself I only spent50$~. (Also try the desserts if you have space) Atmosphere was great/clean, very cute and local to the area! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Only problem is trying to choose what to have. Our waitress, Amy, was fantastic and helped me choose the... best seafood dinner I?ve had in NS. As an FYI, the pan seared scallops are to die for! Definitely coming back here on my nexttrip to NS. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a delicious culinary experience All the staff are friendly and kind but if youcan, ask for Amy as she?ll make sure you have the best experience imaginable. Food is cooked with pride as everything we ordered were delicious! Scallops cooked to perfection. Chowder is full of flavour... loaded with seafood and came with a fresh almost brioche like roll and one of the best coconut cream pie we ever had. Pricesare reasonable. Staff are friendly and courteous. One of our best meals in the maritimes for sure. Read more
Friendly staff. Great decor. The fish coating was a bit soggy, and the haddock surprisingly chewy. The chicken fingers were... great. The lemon pepper coated fish was a bit overpowering. Sweet potato fries weren't as crispy as expected. Maybe we came aton off time as other reviews are great. Read more
This place was fantastic! I don?t give 5 star reviews too often but they are well deserved here. The lobster roll and the... Seafood Chowder was the best that we have had on our two week trip to Nova Scotia. The prices were reasonable, service was greatand the view was beautiful. We were seated in a nice table on the deck but it took a long time to get service though. Others who came after us had water and... ordered before we asked if we could order too. Waited what seemed about 10 minutes for our waitress to finally show, I wouldhave left but the table was great. Anyway, my scallops cooked 3 ways and my partners grilled fish were excellent although by1pm they were already out of mashed potatoes so I had baked, the canned carrots and peas as a vegetable were quite boring. While we were in Digby I wanted to make sure we went to the Crow's Nest to help support them and I was not disappointed. The... food was tasty, served hot and fairly priced. We ordered the deep fried pickle platter to share, and for the main course Iordered the two piece fish and chips, my daughter ordered the kids menu fish and chips and my wife ordered the fish burger(sandwich). For dessert I had their home made coconut cream pie and ice cream was included in my daughter's meal. This was ourfirst time eating here as the last time we tried to eat here they were full and had no seats (a good sign for sure!). Wonderful ambience. Great, friendly service. Amazing menu. Great food! The whole experience was so amazing we went back the next... day. We had the pulled pork on a baked potato - amazing!! Philly cheesesteak on baked potato - amazing! Desserts, one of thebest coconut cream pies ever AND the cinnamon bun cheese cake so lovely and different. Dessert was one of the reasons we wentback the next day on our trip. Had scallops on day two and they were perfect. We may stop one more time before heading home.???? Read more
