Food was absolutely fabulous!? Service was absolutely stupendous! Trudy has perfect timing in asking about our needs and very... friendly! Jacqueline(?), the bartender, makes a mean virgin strawberry daiquiri. The flavor was wonderful, which sometimes ishard to do without the alcohol. All food was melt in your mouth good! Black tail has always been a favourite of ours when we come from Canada. Our food was good but as I had a burger the waitress of... course brought condiments. I should of known better I put mayo on my burger even after I realized the bottle was roomtemperature. And after we were done the waitress did indeed return the mayo to a shelf. Mayonnaise ALWAYS has to be refrigerated! I had a very upset stomach after which is not cool. Not happy Read more
Although there are many options, steak is the way to go at Blacktail Station. I had the ribeye and my guy had the NY strip. Both... were cooked perfectly and were seasoned to perfection! This is now our go-to in the vicinity when we aren’t in the mood tocook steak at home. Read more
Nice staff, great food and cozy atmosphere. New York strip and twice baked potato were both delicious.
So the front end service was excellent, the staff was friendly and chatty. However, the kitchen needs some work. It took a while... to get our burgers and mine was the wrong burger. Then it took a while for the correct food to come out, unfortunately when itdid the burger was completely dry and tasted like shoe leather. Zero pink in there, just a sad sad patty. Normally I finish myplate, but I ate less than half that burger because it was so bad. Also, my buddy's onion rings were burnt to a crisp. I'd liketo give them another chance because their food really was good (besides that burger) but it's very frustrating to pay 19 bucksfor a burger you can't eat. Read more
