Chef is always amazing... tonight was no different....
I went here for a post Mother's Day dinner with my mom and it was pretty good. It's always weird to get a good meal in a burned... out strip mall but good food trumps all. She wanted to come here for the lobster they offer in limited supply on Fridays and itwas pricey but well worth it. The menu was limited but everything looked good and tasted great. They offer a large wineselection and service was fair. My mom had enough lobster ???? to last for days. Read more

We had a great dinner here a few nights ago with some friends. Vin Alegro is a small intimate restaurant in Discovery Bay. The... food was terrific, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. A wonderful dining experience. The staff are attentive and welcoming. My friend and I came for the Friday lobster special but... everything we've tried on the menu so far has been excellent. They have a lovely set up so you can sit inside or out on thecovered patio. Read more

If you have not come to visit this place yet, you are truly missing out. Chef Roberto Rose has put together an incredible food... menu unlike anything around Discovery Bay and I have personally watched as he and my parents worked so hard on the wineselection. Some might say I am biased because my father is one of the owners, however, if you know me, you know how picky of aneater I am! I have worked my way through half of the menu and everything has been full of flavor and oh so delicious! Theambiance is very relaxing and I can tell this is going to be a great place to unwind from a long day. It is so great to see somany familiar faces coming through to show their support! Be adventurous and try one of everything! You won?t regret it as eachdish is put together with so much flavor and you can truly taste the passion that chef puts into his dishes. Small and cozy interior with outdoor seating as well. The outdoor area felt a little boxed in until the staff opened a tall... covered gate that let the breeze come through. Staff was courteous and friendly, though a little nervous. Food was presentedwell. The only downside was the wait for the order, apparently they had some oven issues. Read more
