My husband and I have been here twice and will keep coming here for any celebration, date night, anniversaries etc. I cannot say... enough good things about this restaurant. First, the staff is always so kind and welcoming. The food is amazing! (I got theribeye with lobster with salad bar) I absolutely love this place and cannot wait to bring relatives from out of state here.Thank you for a wonderful experience. Read more
Great place! We had the fried chicken which was outstanding! Juicy, crispy light batter. We also loved the salad bar.
We've been coming here for over a year. It's been pretty good. Love the salad bar. We have a good time. But the last 3 times... we've been here, the cook doesn't know how to prepare a rare steak. My husband has to send it back to get it right. How doesthis happen? Then our waitress said she was entering it in wrong on their new computer system. Still learning...But that's whatshe said to us the last time when his steak came back too cooked. ( per the manager the system is 6 months old.) Then I askedhow much for broccoli with my meal. Waitress said $1.00 extra. So we both got it. When we got the bill, the broccoli was$4.00 for each. Found out that it was entered wrong on the ticket. Manager fixed it though. Also, we asked for some rolls forour soup, by the time we got our rolls our soup was cold. I just hope either the new system gets better or the waitress or thecook... Idk. All I know is that we are very disappointed with our past 2-3 visits. Management needs to get to the bottom ofthese issues. Read more

Stake was tough with no flavor. Hubby got a hamburger that was 12.00. Do not get a hamburger there. Go to Rivers Edge. We were... very disappointed ????. Read more
This place is a gem. The staff was absolutely wonderful and if you get the saganaki they light it on fire at the table. The... salad and soup bar has everything you could want and comes with a free trip with an entree. The portions are huge and you willprobably be taking leftovers home. The fried button mushrooms? best I?ve ever had. My galena steak special was delicious aswere the ribeyes our friends ordered. My wife got the salmon that was equally as good with the garlic mashed. Only issue withthat is that we found a pin bone in it, but these things happen. Next time were skipping the appetizers so we can save room fordesert. Definitely check this place out! Read more

That's a good a deal! $8.99 Reuben sandwich carved corned beef withsauerkraut on marble rye bread with Swiss cheese and fries, add $2.99 salad bar. That's a good deal! Great small town comfort food with fantastic service. This place does not pretend to be a Chicago steakhouse and it... isn't. However, for a quality meal on my way back to Chicago from a trip to Iowa, it hits the spot. The staff is top notch. Veryattentive to the diners. You leave with a smile. Read more
