The huge fried tenderloin and fries was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. It was a massive piece of pork loin, almost as big as the plate,... battered and fried (rather than breaded and fried as is standard for huge Hoosier Tenderloins) and served on a comically smallbun (in comparison), with tomato, onions and lettuce on the side. In spite of the massive size, the meat was thick, tender andflavorful. The fries were excellent as well, and seemed to have very flavorful light batter coating. The service was veryfast, efficient and friendly. We loved the tables by large windows overlooking the Rock River. It appears that the place hasrecently been updated and remodeled on the inside, with newer flooring. Read more

The restaurant is right along the Rock River with a nice view of the river birds and boats going by. There is plenty of free... parking, most of it is not marked and gravel so it is difficult with a walker, cane or wheelchair. The restaurant is handicapaccessible as long as there is someone to open the door for you. The restaurant was very clean and well appointed. We went had atable of 5 and ordered a variety of things from sandwiches to steaks the dinner meals came with the soup and salad bar. The foodwas served hot and fresh but it it was very spread out time wise and we had to ask for things that should have came out with themeal for example the top of the pork tenderloin's bun. The server was very friendly and as soon as we reminded her of things shebrought them right out. The kitchen might want to work on it's timing and prep as sending out the same table's meals spaced outover 10 minutes could make the server look bad. The food is good, the atmosphere is a little lacking. There's a lot of potential in this location. The service was good, prices... fair. Update 5-27 This time, the atmosphere matches the food! The only reason for 4 star is because we requested water with noice and received with ice and despite the request for crispy hash browns, they were barely cooked. :( Still good, but not up totwo requests. Will try again when in town and hope to get this 4 to a 5! It's a lovely diner fare, recommend. Read more
Beautiful river view, tasty food, great service, and reasonable prices. Do NOT pass on this gem! They're compable to Steak N... Shake on price with far better food, service, and view. It was a bit chilly for the patio but in better weather I woulddefinitely have to try the outdoor seating. Read more
Was pleasantly surprised by my meal should have took pictures but eat it to fast. I highly recommend the pork tenderloin and... fires or the burger. They have gambling machines in the lobby that's full of noise if people are playing and could use bettertables. This place is great for lunch haven't been for dinner yet they also have a bar if you want some drinks. There is a greatview of the river. Read more
