Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. The lobster and scallops were cooked perfectly. Would definitely... return. -Wish there were more vegetable options for side dishes. -Couldn't sit outside because there was no shade and therestaurant would not open the umbrellas at the tables due to the wind. -Staff was a bit slow towards the end of our dinner whenit got busier. Great views, positive environment and very diverse crowd. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Drinks and appetizers were good.... Main meal was average and too expensive. I recommend this place for the wonderful views, good drinks, flavorful appetizers andrelaxing environment. Good for groups (family or friends) and romantic couples. I would not bring kids unless you watch themclosely for fear of going into the water. Read more
A memorable brunch experience this past Sunday at Half Moon. We’ve been going to this restaurant for the past four years and... they have gradually improved overall in service and quality. It’s mostly a cocktail and appetizers experience for us but willrevisit for dinner to see if that has stepped up as well. The restaurant offers amazing views of the Hudson River with visualof the Tappanzee bridge and a distant view of Manhattan. It’s a great location for a restaurant. You can literally step intothe river from the patio. Our food was delicious and everyone in the party had a great experience. Upbeat and lively ambiancecomplement the aesthetics of the restaurant. The views from inside reminds me of dining on a cruise given the views of theriver. We will be revisiting for an experience at the raw bar. Overall a pleasant and improved dining experience at Half Moon. Read more
Beautiful restaurant on the Hudson! We just happened upon it when exploring the area. Arrived at Happy Hour. ( so HaPpY! ) ... The food, drinks, service & views are fabulous. Lots of outdoor seating. Service was excellent, appetizers were outstanding! Great views and an incredible atmosphere. We were a little disappointed... with the main course, my wife had the salmon and it was bland and dry. This place is right on Hudson river and the sunset views are amazing. Great place for date night and romantic dinners. Large... dining area both inside and outside. Food is decent, interesting and presented well. They have some good wines on their winelist. Desserts were not too heavy and coffee lightly spiced. Service was attentive but could be more knowledgeable about thefood and wines. For the price point they could be a little more refined. Read more

It is an excellent restaurant to go as a couple or with your family. Very cozy atmosphere, with a view of the Hudson River, you... can find two bars one outdoors and the other inside. But let's talk about the food, if you are a lover of seafood or not, youwill like this place since it has a varied menu for all tastes, but remember the specialty is sea food.
