On a cross-Kansas trip, we focused on the Eclectic cafe because it was a good location on the way to Wichita, but mostly because... of the terrific reviews. As we were traveling with a dog, wWe needed to do takeout. But what we missed in the atmosphere of thecafe was made up for by the terrific food. A sirloin steak with distinctive flavoring, a gnocchi dish with sausages, chicken andshrimp whose flavors were more subtle than any pasta I?ve had before.
