My daughter has celiac disease.She came here to eat and asked for a gluten free waffle.She said it didn?t taste like like it was... gluten free but that it was really good. Food was good. Always takes forever in this location. Plus, dont ever see any workers unless theyre bringing you something. When... we needed anything they were in the back room. Theyd come out to bring your food then right back in. Waitress was a little kidnaive. Gave my 1 year old an adult glass with no lid. My husband wasn't even half through his meal when he found a hair in his food (he is completely bald couldn't have been his).... Asked for our waiter, he apologized and took food away. My husband's appetite was ruined from this. When I finished and went topay the waiter said he was going to ask his manager to put a discount on our ticket because of the hair. The manager did notever come out and talk to us, didn't apologize. Evidently the manager felt authorizing the waiter to take 15% or what equaled$2.19 off his meal was enough to make it right. It most definitely was not enough. Felt sorry for the waiter as it wasn't hisfault and the manager should have been a manager and addressed the issue and done more than $2.19. Read more
I came in with a 4 person party at 11:30am. It took 40 minutes for us to get seated even though they were not busy. The host... called for a 2 person party, but when they didn?t answer went back in to the kitchen for ten minutes, and when she came out, shewas chewing on food. She stood at the stand for another couple minutes doing nothing, and then called a party that got to therestaurant AFTER we did. We complained and were seated right away. There were 10 free tables. 10 minutes later, half of thosetables were still dirty. Again, the restaurant was not busy, maybe half the tables had customers at them. Once we finally gotseated, we had to repeat ourselves twice to get coffee and creamer. At 12:45pm, I asked our waiter when our food would be ready,and he said maybe in another 15 minutes or so. At 12:55, we got our food. Instead of setting the plates in front of us, hehanded us each our plates, which were all very hot. Even after all that, our pancakes were cold. The food was decent but the place was lacking in a few areas. There was no salt and pepper on the table, we had to ask for it. I... ordered eggs with toast, the toast was nothing more than slightly warmed bread and no butter. The service here was a little slowalso. Usually IHOP is better. 4 people at corner counter talking. No interest in people (us)standing waiting to be seated. Finally seated ourselves. No rush... on service. This happened last time and we will not be back. It's no wonder why this place is empty most of the time. Read more
