Two days ago I made an order for a large jerk chicken, it's been over 3 years since I haven't been back but this used to be an... all time favourite of mine. I didn't know one can cook bad Carribean food...this food is usually so good. But not at this place. The roties are really bad,... dry and an overpowering taste of old stale spices. The patty is so dry, it sucked the water off my mounth. I ordered chickencurry and I got goat curry, bones and fat. They don't give any sauces or salads as sides to refresh that dryness of the food.You have to pay 50 cents for a small half empty container of spicy sauce! My husband and I were craving Caribbean food and we finally found the perfect place! Plus, it's in the West Island which is... close to us. Picture is of Roti that we ordered for takeout. We shared two so this plate shows half Goat (with small bones) andhalf chicken. It was delicious. We also ordered the oxtail which literally melts in your mouth. Divine is how I would describethe taste :) The fried plantains were yummy and the Jerk chicken tasty. Pretty sure it was the owners who greeted and served us.They were friendly and helpful!
