A satisfying culinary experience, the portions are generous , the flavors and the "cuisson"on point. The wine selection was... excellent and I literally wanted to try every single bottle but we settled on a recommendation from our server , which wasperfect. Welcoming and prompt service from knowledgable staff, namely Stephanie who is efficient, quick and witty whileremaining professional and fully on the ball. La Verità is a restaurant that "gets it". From the moment you walk in, you're treated with respect and extremely well served by... probably the most professional group of servers I've seen in a long time. The food was amazing, so fresh & tasty I moaned onevery bite. I had the 10oz filet mignon and I'm always skeptical about ordering my steaks medium because if it gets over cooked,it's ruined. The waiter assured me I could trust them and sure enough, it was cooked perfectly to my taste. My wife had thetable d'hôte braised beef which was just ridiculously tender. Waiter recommended a very nice bottle of red wine that was aperfect pairing and not one of the more expensive bottles to boot. Now I will say it's not cheap but you have to ask yourselfthis: do you want dinner or an experience? All restaurants are expensive now but personally, I would much rather pay an extra$50 to make my date perfect rather than just OK. Read more
