Food was delicious. We ordered a mix of sashimi, sushi, and rolls with the Maiko Garden which was our favourite! The reason for... the 4 star is the service. We specified being pressed in time and that we were here for my sister’s 17th birthday.Unfortunately they did not do anything to make it memorable, not even a birthday wish. Exceptional dining experience.. We made a reservation in advance, was told that the seating should not exceed two hours, good... measure in pandemic to allow proper cleaning in between seating. Noted that the city is under a boiling water warning, as soonas we were seated, we were told to look at the QR code menu. Waiter served bottle with ice in glass. Also, we were given hottowel to disinfect before ordering. Good industrial practice! We ordered the Maiko special for two persons, the menu said it isa daily creation of the chef based on his inspiration. This order came with Miso soup. We also ordered a Kaki Oyster and ateriyaki vegetable. I ran out of words to exactly describe the experience. Food are for happiness, and happiness asked us to goall the way. We ordered a fried ice cream in pancake , and a fried banana with ice cream in whiskey flame. After having such abig meal, with delicious sashimi , sushi, oysters, teriyaki vegetable and deserts, we felt so good in digestion. The bestingredients used contributed the success. This is a dining experience at its best, both food and services. Will definitely comeback again. We had a wonderful two hours. Read more
