If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have no idea if this is the same owner who has been in this location for the past... however many years BUT this past year has been extremely disappointing. This is my 4th and last order for 2022......not onlydid I ask and pay for extra shrimp in the Tartares that I ordered, there must have been a miscommunication because there seemedto be less and less shrimp as the months went on, to the point that I think they forgot they are a sushi restaurant and filledthe rolls with 90% oily, greasy tempura, no onion, no roe, no taste and no fish. And after finally confronting them right afterI threw it all out in the Marche de l'Ouest garbage, I received a blank face and rude replies. I was very polite but obviouslyfrustrated for giving them too many chances. Nausea on top of nausea has been the result of my ONLY TEMPURA ROLLS. Thanks fornothing except an upset stomach, rudeness and an overall bad experience, once again. This is my fault for going back after thefirst bad meal. Read more

Extremely unsanitary. The person who took my order was wearing a pair of clear plastic gloves and taking another order on a cell... phone. When she finished, she took my order and took my money and gave me change and was about to start on my order with thesame pair of gloves. I asked her to please change her gloves especially in view of the fact that she had just handled money.She went to the sink and wiped her gloves with a wet cloth that had been sitting in the sink. As she was about to start again tomake my Sushi with the same pair of unchanged gloves, I again asked her to change them since she had just handled money. Theowner came out from the back of the shop and was very irate telling me that he can't have people coming into the shop andwatching everything they do and insisting they change their gloves. I was astounded since I had been coming to that shop on aperiodic basis for many years. He refused to hear what I had to say, telling me he would have her change her gloves this onetime when preparing my order but that I should never come back to their store to which I replied that he needn't worry because Iwould never want to. The incident made me seriously question their sanitary practices (or lack thereof ) during food prep. Ifound the owner to be rude and unreasonable since I felt that what I was asking for was in fact fair qnd reasonable and for myown health and safety. Handling money and then working with food is very unsanitary and unhealthy as most people know. Itwould have been better if she had discarded her used gloves and washed her hands thoroughly with soap and water if she did notwant to put on fresh gloves. My girlfriend and I love coming here for very fresh, affordable and tasty family-run sushi. The rice is always perfectly cooked... and seasoned and the staff is super friendly as well. Compared to other quick/affordable sushi, (IGA, sushi shop, etc.), thisplace is our favorite. Read more

Fresh and tasty sushi spot located at Marché de l?ouest. Be aware of their promotion program, it?s not applicable for the combo... orders; it would be nice if they have mentioned it in the flyer. None the less still good quality of sushi with generous gingersand nice sauce. Read more

For the price that I paid, totally worth it. I ordered the 44pcs Chef's choice assorted platter and they come with free 6pcs... Dragon Eye which is super good. This made my boyfriend's birthday worthwhile. They only accept take out and delivery with thepandemic we are in now. Affordable price and able to solve the sushi craving in West Island. ???? Read more
