We ordered two dishes. The lamp stew was really good but the noodle dish was super salty. What’s worst, the water my husband... drank tasted chemical and he checked the water, there was white foamy stuff in it and it was a lot!! His stomach didn’t feelwell after that. Will never go there again. Read more

A very unpretentious grocery store & cafeteria style food… lots of options to chose from the cafeteria style food. Plus they... have a made to order menu too. Don’t expect the tables to be clean, advise you to bring wet wipe to wipe down the table. Wegot rendang & it was tender & tasty, so was the gulai ayam. Every item we picked was yummy. No complaints… location was a bitweird but the GPS got us there. Excellent meal! Read more

I got shrimp and chicken combination nasi goreng and beef rendang with extra sambal on the side. Everything was delicious! The... rendang was cooked so well it was almost falling apart in a thick stew with a very good flavor. All of the tendon was cookedtender and delicious! The sambal had a great flavor. I could taste all of the flavors I expected, including the shrimp paste, soI don't think the recipes are Americanized. The combination nasi goreng was great and nothing was overcooked at all. The ricehad a nice shine and there were no clumps. The shrimp was juicy, but still had a nice slightly crispy exterior. The egg was theright texture. The portion was great! I couldn't eat it all, so I ate half and am saving the other half for lunch at worktomorrow. I'm excited to dive into it. If you like spice, don't skip the sambal on the nasi goreng! It has a great flavor and ifyou just put it on parts of the rice, then you can enjoy two great flavors of nasi goreng! Read more

We were in Atlanta and we found an authentic Indonesian restaurant. We fell in love with Indonesian food during a family... vacation to Bali. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were much larger than the photos on the menu. They also haveIndonesian groceries available for purchase. I definitely recommend this gem. Read more

Batavia offers authentic, delicious Indonesian food either in the grocery store sections (which has a small freezer section) or... in the restaurant section which offers a variety of traditional dishes. This is not super fancy (or super clean), but the foodmakes up for any flaw. Absolutely delicious! Read more
