Riding back from Packards Corner back to Quincy Center, I was in desperate need of nourishment. Normally, I can't get past that... section of Mass Ave quickly enough, but after twenty miles on two wheels and a seat and no food in my stomach, I figured it wasthe perfect day to stop in on a slow summer afternoon. I was able to lock my bike to a rail but I do understand that during peakhours, parking is hard to come by. I had dinner plans later that night so I modestly ordered the Columbia Road, a pulled porksandwich. It came out quickly and hit me like a cold shower on a hot, humid night. I went up to the bar and ordered a couple of5 ounce beers from the DOT brewing company, which was a considerably wise decision. I had to save my appetite but I could haveeasily wolfed down more food. I'd like to try more of their fixings because I see mixed reviews for those and I don't want todiscount what others have said about the mac and cheese being bland or the collard greens being of the canned quality. Finally,I would like to see how their bbq hits when I'm not starving. No matter what, this place deserves more than a cumulative 3.8stars, but I'm guessing so much depends on when you go here. Really wanted to like this place but the food is bad. The mac n cheese was gross, the wings were greasy. and unappetizing, and... my friend's BBQ chicken looked boiled. We ate there while visiting the brewery and they don't take orders at the register andthere was some issue with our table not having a number so my food sat there for awhile. Maybe it was an off night but all 3 ofour meals were bad. Read more
Service: Quick, they didn't bring napkins (for BBQ) Food: Brisket is good but the Mac and cheese is pretty bland Ordering:... online app needs adjustments - it would be helpful not to have to input your table number with every single item you order, justonce the first time; the app also says that you're closed when you're open and that the food won't be available until 11:30 amthe next day though that information is incorrect. We had a pick up yesterday, this place is funky fresh but worse BBQ in Dorchester, One person had the Jackfruit and one the... Chicken sandwich and coleslaw, no words to say how bad both were. Chicken to thick for bun, not enough sauce, and not friedevenly, no flavor, no seasoning BLAND! Brun was good with pickle and drop of sauce, coleslaw flavorless. THe Jackfruit was nowords for how bad, it got tossed, greens tasteless. Hope you improve your food on your menu. A huge waste of money and gas. Had lunch here a week ago. The collard greens were Glory canned greens. The Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft box Mac and... cheese. The fried chicken was absolutely delicious. Service was ok. All and all would not recommend the food here. Read more
Amazing! From the food to the service! Their food is made with LOVE! The security guard was super friendly and let me know where... to go to pick up my order. The owner immediately asked me what the name on my order was and while waiting another managerchecked on me to make sure I was taken care off. If you’re looking for QUALITY, you need to visit M&M. I have eaten from M&M Ribs for 30 years. I gave 1 star but really deserved no stars. The brisket is pot roast, the chicken is... pale and flavorless, the mac and cheese was gummy! You grandfather would never serve food like this! Will not order from hereagain!! Read more
