July 4th weekend. We won't be looking for another inn next time we are in Manchester. Crystal and Ray are wonderful hosts with a... very, very lovely and spacious inn with nice community rooms to hang out in. Our room was clean, bright (easy to darken ifsleeping in a little) and well appointed. (The iron came in very handy.) Aromatic and perfectly brewed coffee awaits at 7:30while Breakfast begins at 8:30. Breakfast is spot on, fresh and filling. Perfect options depending on the days menu, eggs, fritattas, Quiche, muffins, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fresh juice and fruit, everything wonderful tasting. Crystal shared lotsof information about the area and is very easy to talk to and spent time with us and other guests at breakfast sharing storiesand just keeping it real. Very nice grounds off route 30, peaceful and if you like a little alone time in a hammock and I suredo, they've got one. Very accommodating and down to earth, can't wait to get back here. Thanks again, Scott & Jane. Read more

My wife and I recently moved to the Manchester VT area and we ordered takeout from the restaurant at the Inn at West View Farm... for the first time last night. We got the seared rare salmon w/crispy rice, duck bao bun w/hoisin, pork dumplings, wonton soupand the dan dan pork lo mein. Ray Chen's farmhouse Asian cuisine is hands down the best Asian food that I've eaten in the U.S.and is on par or better than the best food that I've had in Asia (Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan - Din Tai Fung). I am blown awaywith the quality of his dishes. Please never leave Dorset Ray! -2 new lifelong customers :) Read more

We didn?t stay at the Inn (wish we had!!) but a few local shops recommended the restaurant. And it was AMAZING!!! The food and... the service are NYC worthy. Their Asian dishes knocked us out. Def a must-do in VT. Read more

We only ate at the restaurant and didn?t stay at the inn. This place is small and off the beaten path but the food was amazing.... We tried about 6 different tapas style dishes plus dessert. If you?re into Asian fusion, you won?t be disappointed! Read more

The Inn at West View?s dining is a culinary marvel. The Asian cuisine is authentic, brimming with unique flavor that has been... so carefully chosen for each distinctive dish by remarkable chefs. The care that is put into their food vividly presents itselfthrough astounding sesame chicken with Thai curry sauce and red wine and coriander braised short ribs. One of the best dinnersin the Dorset/Manchester area. Read more

My granddaughter and I visited Dorset to see a play and stay the night. Innkeepers, Chrystal and Ray, are friendly and very... helpful. And the housekeeper, Amy, was most accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Our first floor room with bath wasimmaculate and very comfortable. An added treat is the great restaurant at the Inn- superb small dish Asian food to share. Willdefinitely put the Inn on our return visit wish list. Read more

What a find! Had come to town to see a performance and wanted a nice dinner for my wife and I. From the moment we arrived we... loved the place. The landscape reminded us of an inn we stayed at in the Black Forrest in Germany, very quaint and relaxing, beautiful farmland vibe. The owner was out watering a hanging plant and greeted us without intruding on our enjoyment of thespace. The interior at first continued that farmhouse feel, but soon turned to a 5-star level of service and ambiance. The foodwas amazing and we loved each tapa we ordered, especially fond of the pork and scallion chefs special. The wine selection wastop notch, and we were pleasantly surprised how satisfied we were after only 5 tapas and some soba. Can't wait to come again, hoping to stay at the inn next time and enjoy their hospitality, full breakfast included! Read more

This is a beautiful Inn and Restaurant located in picturesque Dorset, VT. The owners are Christal, who is the charming and... gracious host and Ray, her chef-husband who runs the kitchen. The restaurant is a culinary treat in the area. The food isoutstanding and service is excellent. The inn has a relaxing country atmosphere. It is comfortable, clean and they serve asplendid breakfast. It is close to all outdoor activities that the area has to offer and also shopping. I highly recommend theInn at West View Farm for both the rooms and the restaurant. Read more
