one of the worst burgers I've had in a long time. dry, not warm, a McDonald's patty would easily have been better. The fries... were an insult as they were served, see picture. The thing that makes it all so much worse is that price tag of this at ~25$with taxes before service. better off to grab a sandwich from Starbucks, def avoid paying out of pocket here, only go if youhave lounge credit to use, and avoid going over budget as it's just not worth the $. Solid priority pass restaurant with okay food. For a PP restaurant, it?s worth stopping here for a bite to eat! Service was a... little on the slower end but I appreciated the hostess giving travelers a heads up that food could take 35-40 minutes. I triedthe California chicken salad which I thought was okay. Chicken seemed like it was bbq glazed instead of ?sambal glazed.? WithPP, you have $37 CAD to spend (up to $74 if you have a guest). Take advantage of it but also don?t forget to tip! Super pricey food items and mediocre taste. Well this is what you expect from a restaurant which is at the airport i guess. We... got the southwest salad with grilled chicken and the spicy taco. None of them were great but we were starving so orderedthem. You might as well get a grab and go and eat at the gate as the service can get a little slow. The drinks were decent butsuper expensive. Ordered chicken salad, calamari, and poutine. Chicken salad was okay. The chicken was dry, the sauce wasn't that tasty, and the... salad was okay. The calamari was good, even the sauce. It was cooked well and soft. The poutine was tasty. Good cheese, goodgravy, excellent beef. Coffee was good too. Service is a bit fast and frustrating, but not bad at all. Just really fast. Read more
After three weeks in Africa was looking for some familiar food and selected this restaurant, figuring with ?Houston ? in the... name the burgers should be good. What we got: a 1/4 inch dried up hockey puck that was half the diameter of the bun. The bacon:look for yourself in the picture. The ?cheddar? cheese: some processed cheese food that didn?t even melt. The service: aboutequal to the food. Did we pay for this? Yes, 23 dollars for that burger. Did we tip? Yes we did that also even though we relayedour feelings to the waitress. Avoid this place at all cost. Bad food, unfair & very rude / poor service. The fries tasted burnt, other food were also bland &... old. All the staff behaved like they have given up on life & went out of their way to make you feel unwelcome & unwanted. Our (afemale) server treated us really unfairly and condescendingly. We even witnessed some staff yelling at customers!Unbelievable! You will also highly likely miss your flight if you dine here; food took 30 mins to come to table. It took a bit of time to get in, as they appeared to be low-staffed. Once seated, our waiter was quick to bring water and take... our orders. We had the Bacon & Cheddar and Houston burgers. Tap beer options were Coors Light, Molson Canadian, Loxley, and anIPA. Had the Molson which is okay... My Houston Burger was missing its caramelized onions, the waiter was quick to notice myfacial expression and approached me, and brought a generous plate of caramelized onions, making it right. In contrast with many of the other reviews, I actually found the quality of the food quite decent here. I would say the quality... is above average for most restaurants in airports. The ribs were truly fall-off-the-bone and quite decent. Surprisingly, thefish and chips were also quite good and served with a dill tartar sauce. I opted for side salads instead of the fries - theCaesar was nothing special. Croutons were crunch and overall tasted not bad. Where this place suffers is that I don?t think it?sset up well when there are a lot of travelers. Tables were very crammed together and waiting for the food took 30-45 minutesafter ordering.
