I've been here twice now since moving into the area. Both times the husband and I have been seated right away. The staff is kind... and attentive. Tonight we had Chef Thomas making our dinner. It was refreshing to have conversation and laughs at the table. Hecooked my steak to perfection and I'm glad we stopped in tonight. Read more

The food was really good, as it usually is. Our server was very attentive. Our cook was very funny and personable. It is pricey... which is expected for this type of restaurant. I'm not 100% sure but it seems like the portions might have been a bit smallerthan the last time. My wife myself and our 2 kids. I had a couple drinks and my wife had a glass of wine. Total came to 170.00 Read more

It's good. Sometimes seems a little salty. But the chicken and seafood and steaks seems very fresh! It ain't cheap...but it... is good. Great cooks also. Short wait. Big tables.. also had some fine sushi here. Spicy tuna was right up there!! Awesome. Read more

Inside is impeccably clean. We were seated promptly, and the chef was to the table promptly as well. He was extremely ... interactive I just wish I hadn?t have been so tired, to have more banter. Really great and the food was fresh, and cooked withskill. Will be back Read more

We had to wait an hour because a grill wasn't lighting but they made up for it by giving us the BEST chef. Mr Wonderful was so... entertaining! Food was amazing as usual. Read more

Been here many times. The hibachi was awesome and sushi was amazing as always. This trip was a bit different than the others... though. Our server seemed very hyper and rushed us and the other 2 families seated with us. Took drink orders and brought themout very quickly and seemed uneasy because none of the table was ready to order. Had to ask for a sushi menu and he didn'tbother to ask anyone else. He quickly returned wanting to know if we were ready to order again. I requested sushi menus for theother parties due to them trying before he left to get mine and ignored them. Everyone ordered and I requested miso soup with mysushi. The chef arrived and began cooking the hibachi (in agreement with another comment-with only 2 eggs in the rice for 7people). There seemed to be a crazy amount of cabbage and "filler" with VERY little meat. Never experienced any small portionsbefore. Everyone got soup and salad quickly with their hibachi but my miso came way later. Before everyone was even completelyserved their hibachi by the chef, the server came with boxes, asking who needed one. We were all brought our checks when noteven halfway through our meals. Then, I was asked to stop eating my meal and go ahead and pay.... Then stopped again to sign mycard receipt. Very unprofessional and downright annoying when trying to enjoy a $128 meal with your family. The restaurant wasnot packed, no one waiting, plenty of available seating and well before closing time. Not saying we won't be back but Icertainly hope they make some much needed changes! Read more

Just left Mikata tonight after a very fun evening of drinks and sushi. I?m staying in a neighboring hotel and figured I?d walk... over for a drink or two. Met Joy, the bartender and had a few cocktails. Had great conversation. Got to meet a lot of the staffsimply by sitting at the bar. I ordered several rolls and nigiri and everything was great. If you?re staying at one of thesehotels, please do yourself a favor and walk over and have some fun. The food is great, the entertainment is also top notch! IfI?m ever in the area I am most definitely stopping by. Oh and to the idiot who has been to ?dozens? if hibachi restaurantsthinking each person gets one egg in fried rice, you are ignorant. Most fried rice recipes call for one egg per four persons. But what do I know. Eat here! Sit at the bar. Make a friend. Read more

Outstanding Japanese Steakhouse. The food was extremely fresh including the house soup and house salad. The grilled chicken with... fried rice was outstanding The service was excellent for our entire family meal. It?s a bit pricey so be aware you can expectto pay $25 to $30 per person for dinner with no alcohol included in that price Overall I highly recommend this restaurant Read more
