It?s a novel concept. It?s all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi but not buffet style; they bring the food out to your table. You... can order as much as you want, but if you have excessive waste, you will be charged 15% extra. (The cost per person is $21.95 asof 9/24/2022. There are no prices on the menu.) The clear soup was darker than I?m used to, but it was good. I don?t think Iliked the hibachi as much because I?m a rice person and they didn?t have any eggs in it. It?s like they cut corners, which Iunderstand because it?s all you can eat. I think this place is more for sushi lovers. We are looking for a seriously good Japan/Korean restaurant (we are from Asia) and this restaurant is exactly what we expected... (in Alabama central). The food and service is 9.5/10 compared to five other "Hibachi" places I have been to. This one deservesa 5-star rating. The menu is sufficiently large, with a wide range of sushi and also many common dishes. Price is surprisinglyaffordable for a Japanese restaurant, especially a buffet. Highly recommended! We were seated quickly and served ever so slowly. The food was average and the terrible service ruined the evening!! Maybe it... was a bad night probably the awful server. I hate to throw this kid under the bus but he was ill equipped to serve tables. Foodwas presented well when it got there. Don't be in a hurry when you go. I would go somewhere else. Read more

First time here- wasn?t expecting this place to be so huge inside. Very nice dining area and they were packed for lunch. The... pork dumplings were fried to crispy perfection, and the vocano roll was out of this world! Our waiter was excellent andattentive. Will be back! Cheers! Read more
This was my husband first time in Dothan, AL and our first time here at Ooka Sushi. The All You Can Eat was so good and... reasonably priced well. The shrimp hibachi was good and hot! The sushi rolls was fresh to order. Our server was very pleasantand did a awesome job. Read more
First time, from out of town. Don't have this concept near me. Table service all you can eat Japanese was a great discovery.... Food was fresh and good quality.
