This place was amazing. Family owned and loving staff made sure our first experience there was the best. My two year old loved... how creamy her grits were. She finished those first. My southern fried pork chop sandwich was fried to perfection. The biscuitswere soft, moist, and fluffy. I cannot wait to visit again and try the famous chicken sandwich breakfast meal. Read more
I'm on a lucky streak finding great places to eat! This place was exceptional. Creative food and clever combinations along with... some yummy originals. The service was by a young man. He was polite and prompt with everything. He also provided insight tomenu items that were delicious. Looking forward to our next visit! Read more

Absolutely delicious!! I had the fish and grits (blackened), grilled vegatables were fresh and not soggy. Sister had the deluxe... burger and onion rings and brother had the shrimp dinner. No complaints with any meal! Must try. Read more
If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! My husband and I went there this morning for the first time. We felt welcomed... the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Everyone and I mean everyone was so kind and helpful. They worked as a team togets orders out, drink refills, and just anything in general. The food? OMG the food was delicious and the prices were great.The waffles and French toast was awesome, but let me tell you? the GRITS were so creamy and perfect. So first time at Burkes I didn?t know what to expect. I was not expecting friendly service & amazing home cooked food. Burkes... did not disappoint first glance you see a sign in a plaza from the street & begin questioning if you?re at the right place. Youare! The food is amazing & staff is great, professional and attentive. I believe it?s family owned not 100% sure. I visited 3times before leaving a review , I will certainly be back again. Read more
Have visited three times in two weeks. The service and the food have been exceptionally good. The hamburgers are huge, cooked... exactly as requested and are from high quality beef. I also had the shrimp and grits which were incredibly good. On anothervisit we tried the southwest egg rolls. Fried green tomatoes and fried pickles and all were freshly made and delicious. Themacaroni and cheese and onion rings are perfect! We will happily visit more often and highly recommend this little restaurantand think you will agree that this restaurant is a very welcome alternative to the chain restaurants in our community.
