We were in Dover visiting with my mother-in-law's sisters that she had not seen in over a decade! They let us stay until closing... time while we talked and laughed for over 2 hours... more like 2 1/2 hours. The food was good, the staff was wonderful. I had to send back my girlfriends pork ribeye twice because they were raw. We ended up just getting the check and leaving. I... didn't eat anything off my plate since I was waiting for my girlfriend to get her food back. Very surprised my meal wasn'tcomped since it wasn't eaten at all. Not sure I'll return. Read more
Came in for a lobster weekend. Advertised cup of chowder and dessert with purchase of lobster roll. Kylee stated i would have... to "upgrade" my meal to get the free additions. This is a bait and switch. Kylee also stated she could remove the lobster rollfrom the tab, yet she did not do so. We are flying back to Texas in the morning. So avenues of making this right are few. The last time we went was last month. The service was good, but my steak was horrible. I got their ribeye on the bone, I asked... for it medium rare and when I got it half of it was well done and the other half was still kicking. No flavor what so ever andthe second time was last Thursday I ordered sirloin really for medium rare the first bite was like chewing a rubber ball. My wife enjoyed her generous portion of steak tips. She upgraded to asparagus, which was delicious. She also upgraded to a... side salad which was big, butt mostly disappointing collection of lettuce, two cucumber , two onion slices, a tomato andcroutons. She also order a mudslide martini, which was delicious, but disappointing small serving. I had a crispy fish sandwichwhich was good size. It came with French fries. My French onion soup was excellent, steaming hot, melted cheese, andloaded with onion. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and fast and attentive.
