My daughter was married this past weekend and we were fortunate enough to have Cartelli?s cater the event. We could not be more... pleased with their services. From planning the menu to organizing the ?day of? festivities, Mike and his team were attentive todetails and executed everything perfectly. We received endless compliments on the food, which was hot and fresh for all 22tables! Mike even cooked extra pizzas to leave behind after his team was finished so our guests could continue enjoying themeal well into the night. Our new favorite, go to place. Best chicken parm, by far. Homemade meatballs were delicious. Literally everything was amazing.... Going back tomorrow to try the brick oven pizza, saw a bunch get carried by, and they looked delicious. Servers were reallynice, and the owner even checked in on us. 100% recommend this restaurant. This was a solid pizza place discovery. I wouldn't go into this place thinking large floppy NY slices as their large is 15... inches. The crust is nicely charred and crispy adding a great bitter note to your tastebuds and then you get a great simplesauce, rich thick layer of mozzarella, and cutting through all of that was fresh basil. The mozarella was almost too much butthe crust supported it all. Cartell's definitely sets the bar for the seacoast and my new favorite joint. Read more
I went to Cartelli's North End last night for dinner. I originally was going to do take-out but decided to dine in. I ordered... Linguini and Meatballs with a glass of wine. A staple Italian meal that hit the spot. Great flavor all around and the meatballswere perfect. Read more
Best Margarita pizza in the Seacoast area. Unfortunately, due to my obsession with Margarita pizzas, I would know. The sauce is... light, tasty and soooo fresh tasting. They use the best mozzarella. The crust is perfection, light and crisp. Unfortunately, theCaesar salad we ordered was...inedible. The romaine was brown and rotting on its edges. I'm going to guess they were usinglettuce that was cut yesterday, as we ordered soon after their open today. It was pretossed, which is fine. No croutons, whichis weird.But lettuce with rotting brown edges is unacceptable to serve to customers. Back to positives -If you order online,they tell you exactly when your food will be ready and they've always been on time. We've never waited more than 20minutes. Iwill continue to buy and recommend pizza here. But stay away from the salads. Read more
